1.) Act/Serve as Technical advisor to the operation regarding Environmental.
2.) Implement the Company/Project Construction Environmental Management System,
(Air Quality, Water Contamination, Soil and Hydrogeology, Noise Control, Hazardous
Goods, Waste Management, Marine Environment) and same time our Consultant
(MACE) in accordance with some local/legal applicable laws regarding Environmental
compliance.
3.) Review the existing Project Environmental Management Plan, (Noise, Dust, Water
Pollution, Solid Waste Disposal, Transportation/Equipment’s, Community Liaison, and
Emergency Incidents) and check/monitor the implementation at site during on-going
work operation.
4.) Assist/Coordinate/Discussed to the Safety and Health Manager any concern on
Environmental issues/concern for proper action, and Relay to my Project Manager.
5.) Conduct weekly Environmental Checklist.
6.) Do an Environmental Impact Assessment, for any work activities, prior start of work
by operation.
7.) Monitor/Check/Inspect the work activities, in order that Environmental Requirements
was on place (e.g. Generators with proper Bunding, Tower Lights/ Water Pumps with
Drip Trays, Maintenance Work Shop with Spill Kits, Water River sea work with Water
Floating Boom around the work area ), and others.
8.) Ensure that the Suspended Solid on sea water, pass the required Turbidity
measurement (3rd Party conducted the Laboratory Test) and monitor/re check on every 3
months’ interval.
9.) Ensure the proper Waste segregation was done properly.
10.) Any contaminated soil, must be contain on Safe Environmental way and dispose
properly with the service of approved local truck services.
11.) Report any Environmental Incident to Management (Project Manager) and inform
also to our consultant, and make a necessary Report including the
Action/Recommendation taken.
12.) Ensure that NO spill on along seawater, free of any harm to the land, and no air
/noise pollution.
13.) Attend any Internal Environmental Audits by our Company.
14.) Attend Weekly Safety/Health/Environmental tour by our Consultant at work site.
Including Meeting.
15.) Attend any Environmental Concerns, as directed, and make actions.

7. ) Provide/ Conduct Safety training especially the local Iraqis workers.
8. ) Develop assist the sub-contractors that includes a local contractor (Iraqi) about
their safety awareness at work place, or site.
9. ) Conduct bi-weekly safety audits/inspection at work site areas.
10. ) Monitor/Checked/Inspects Daily activities at work site
11. ) Conduct/Investigate any near miss, incident, accident, or property damaged, and
make a recommendation to avoid any recurrence.
12. ) Stop temporary any work activity if there is any imminent danger of life, or any
property damage that involve a large amount of money in term of U.S. dollars.
13. ) PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment) and others Safety
Equipment/Paraphernalia’s should be requested, and must be issued to the
workers, for their proper use.

1. Supports project and site/facility management in fulfilling their EH&S
responsibilities.
2. Coordinates the project EH&S effort with REOL and client requirements.
3. Maintain a current knowledge of OSHA standards and REOL requirements and
state-of-the-art practices in EH&S protection.
4. Participates in administering project EH&S policies and procedures, with a focus
on potentially hazardous operations and emphasizing proactive solutions.
5. Communicates to Department Heads and Project Safety Manager the progress of
the project EH&S program.
6. Leads the development and facilitates the implementation of programs for the
accomplishment of short range and long range project EH&S objectives.
7. Participates in a formal weekly EH&S inspection program with a documented
report reflecting EH&S discrepancies and recommendations for appropriate
corrective actions by the responsible party.
8. Attends, and provides EH&S input into, weekly Supervisor’s safety meetings.
9. Participates in administering the project’s hazardous waste program in
cooperation with the Project Environmental Department and concerned
supervisors.
10. Monitors and administers the project’s radiation protection program in coordination with the site Quality Assurance Manager.
11. Participates in the evaluation and distribution of project incident reports, health
and safety reports, and records of achievements to the Department Head and
Safety Manager.
12. Assists in investigation of all incidents, injuries/illnesses, fire, property damage,
and other related incidents, and issues reports as required.
13. Participates in maintaining the project’s EH&S Record keeping.
14. Assists management in Classifying all occupational injuries and illnesses in
accordance with Philippine DOLE-BWC and U.S. Department of Labour-Bureau
of Labour Statistics Record keeping guidelines and is responsible for its accuracy.
15. Assists the management during investigations by outside agencies.
16. Participates in evaluating the need for personal protective equipment, fire
protection equipment, and other related equipment and specifies the equipment to
meet those needs.
17. Assists in managing the site/facility hazard communication program including a
review of the MSDS for chemicals and hazardous material. Review of product
MSDS prior to ordering the material to determine acceptability of the product.
18. Maintains cumulative, historical MSDS files for chemicals used on projects.
19. Displays and maintains materials on site bulletin boards as required in the
Informational Signs and Postings Procedure.
20. Informs and coordinates with Department Heads and Safety Manager of workers
and supervisors EH&S training needs.
21. Participates in the preparation and analysis of site/facility incident and injury data
and trends then make improvement recommendations to concerned Department
Head.
22. Assists Foreman and Supervisors in conducting weekly and daily Toolbox
Meeting.
23. Performs the duties of the Safety Man as Stated by RULE 1047 of the
Occupational Safety and Health Standards of DOLE.
