Involved into Singapore G3 project for Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) . Take care of IBM pServers and related products like, EMC storage and IBM MQ software and project management.

Look after BTMU production infrastructure servers (DNS, DHCP, Backup, DR, Cluster etc ) in AIX / Linux. Also involved into data center migration activities.

Following technics were involved:

• IBM AIX 6.1 and 7.1
• EMC Storage and PowerPath for AIX
• IBM TSM Client (for backup solution)

Look after Jump Trading production price feed servers and trading servers in Asia colo (Singapore, Japan, Korea) . Work with team in Chicago to build history and simulation trading system. Involved HPC + virtualization + real-time linux kernel testing.

Participate system integration projects and provide system support for new systems development.

Look after a new production environment in SCB, which is GRID computing network using DataSynapse Grid Server running in Linux and Windows mass servers. Provide install, setup, daily maintenance and cluster applets distribution services etc.

Key Achievements:

• Join SCB/AEB system merge project, after SCB acquired AEB private banking in 2009. Provide IBM virtualization, AIX and Linux support in the project. This is the biggest project in SCB in over 20 years, which is online in 2010
• Join lots of SCB projects and provide UNIX system support
• Lead the team keep SCB production running 24x7

Join IBM China Software Group (SWG) . Act as an IBM Tivoli product specialist looking after Tivoli System Management products (ITM, TEC, NetView. TSM) . Provide post-sale services like system planning, project design, software installation, Tivoli product troubleshooting etc. to IBM customers in China. Sometimes provide Tivoli product technical pre-sales services to customers with IBM sales together. Most of China IBM major customers, like banks are using AIX as their OS, so sometimes will help IBM customers on AIX troubleshooting, but the major is focus on Tivoli support.

Key Achievements:

• Build CCB (China Construction Bank) Tivoli Monitoring system to monitor over thousands of CCB production servers in China. This is a huge project. It takes over 5 years to finish it. I take a part of following Tivoli products implementation: ITM, TEC and NetView
• Implement China Foreign Exchange Center (CFEC) Tivoli monitoring upgrade project.
• Passed IBM DB2 and WAS certifications
