Data Intensity, LLC is a leader in Oracle consulting and private Cloud hosting services, We mange to host more 150+ customers in our Boston Data Center. I am working as Sr.Storage Engineer who manages all the Storage maintenance and life cycle, We have recently migrate all our NetApp 7 mode systems to cDOT clusters, All the legacy 3PAR block storage to PURE flash array.

•Frequent meeting with vendors to understand roadmap of new solutions, evaluate if possible and propose solution to client
•Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents.
•Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects
•Perform Storage Administration tasks that include:
•Installation, configuration and administration of NetApp and EMC Storage arrays including storage provisioning, management of RAID-pool or aggregate, volumes, qtrees, LUNs, quota, CIFS and NFS shares, mixed protocol access, user account management, etc.
•Provisioning block (SAN) storage in multi-OS environment.
•Provisioning file (NAS) Storage in NFS, CIFS or mixed protocol environment.
•Online backup of critical volumes by configuring snapshots(SnapView, Timefinder or NetApp - SnapShot), clones (EMC -SnapView/Timefinder, NetApp - FlexClone) or mirrors (MirrorView, SRDF or SnapMirror)
•Configuration and management of replication between two sites for disaster recovery
•Performance enhancement by implementing FAST Cache, Flash Cache or SSD
•Improve storage capacity utilization by implementing Storage Tiering policies.
•SAN Management: Configuration and management of FC SAN for large data centres, implement IP SAN (iSCSI) for smaller data centres, configure FCIP for replication between two sites
•Automate backup and cloning of Oracle databases by using EMC - Replication Manager or NetApp - SnapManager (SMO)
•Install, configure and manage centralized management and monitoring tools like EMC Control Center, NetApp - OnCommand Core, Unified Manager, EMC - Connectrix Manager, Solarwinds (Tek-tools) Storage Profiler, etc.
•Alert management using array based tools, centralized monitoring tools or SNMP traps
•Performance data collection and analysis using array based tools or centralized monitoring tools
