Worked as Ordering & claims manager for an automobile dealership for Chevrolet, GMC, Fiat, Ssangyong & Proton for Dubai and other Emirates.

I was responsible planning & forecasting, vehicle ordering, dealer claims and sales administration the dealershipi. I have supervised their sales administration team responsible for providing administrative support to showrooms in different locations.

Work details
Vehicle Ordering
Analyzing sales forecast and stock / unit arrival schedule and determining monthly order quantity and then communicating the requirement to General Motors.
Formulating monthly orders by deciding variants / colors for the orders.
Supervising order placement and prioritizing the orders according to the urgency.
Monitoring order status to ensure timely production.
Coordination with General Motors for additional production slots, expediting production, changing orders etc whenever required.
Upon the commencement of new model year or upon the introduction of a new vehicle, analyzing the options and building desired derivatives.
A member of General Motors UAE Ordering committee, responsible for defining desired vehicle specifications for various Chevrolet & GMC brand vehicles for UAE.
Placing orders for various Fiat models in specified timeline and tracking them till the arrival.
Placing orders for various Proton models in specified timeline and tracking them till the arrival.
Placing orders for various Ssangyong models in specified timeline and tracking them till the arrival.
Verifying & confirming the correctness of the vehicle invoices from the Manufacturers.

Dealer claims against vehicle sales, marketing etc:-
Supervising dealer claims submission to General Motors for reimbursement and periodical reconciliation of this receivable account.
Ensure proper documentation and submitting Fleet and Retail sales incentive claims to General Motors and follow up for prompt reimbursement.
Checking Factory invoices to submit claims if any price discrepancy.
Claim Ordering incentives.

Developing reports and analysis:-
Analyzing sales trends and performances and develop reports to formulate strategies and forecasts.

Vehicle pricing - pricing the new models.

Review monthly Dealer Open Account Statements from General Motors and others.

Ensure GM Audit standards in documentation.

Coordinating inter-dealer vehicle purchase and sales to meet urgent vehicle requirements.

Coordinating local purchase of vehicle accessories.

Coordinating vehicle conversions / modifications.
