Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all operational elements by implementing latest facility management techniques through skilled maintenance crews in place. An unified approach towards teamwork, personnel development, implementation of updated systems and ensure total control in internal operations. OM is also responsible for directing and coordinating the operations, maintenance and construction of project facilities; and is responsible for supervision and quality of work performed by the maintenance personnel, consultants and contractors providing services to the facility.The Operations Manager must assist in developing a customer orientation in all elements of the operation. Planning, scheduling and reviewing workload to ensure the service output and on time delivery targets are achieved cost effectively.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Coordination and Supervision - Coordinate, manage and monitor the work flow of various departments in the organization.
• Financial - Review financial statements and related data of O & M Contracts. Proper utilization financial data to improve efficiency and reduce down time of assets. Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Recommend effective strategies for the financial well-being of the ECRC.
• Best Practices - Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
• Human Resources - Assist in recruitment and placement of required staff; establishment of organizational structure; delegation of tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance in partnership with the ED.
• Communication - Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, Accounts and Finance. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
• Strategic Input - Liaison with HOD and ED on daily basis. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
• Risk Management - Oversee organizational insurance policies. Ensure health and Safety committee meetings are held and tasks assigned.
• Customer Focus - responsible to the inhouse customers satisfaction for the efficient and customer orientated operations expected of the organization.
• Manage department and staff efficiency and effectiveness in planning, scheduling, and execution of daily work in electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, general and preventive maintenance, ensuring fiscal compliance with budgeted Maintenance expenditures.

• Plan, manage and execute capital asset program in compliance with Annual Operating Plan and established policy.
