Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all operational elements by implementing latest facility management techniques through skilled maintenance crews in place. An unified approach towards teamwork, personnel development, implementation of updated systems and ensure total control in internal operations. OM is also responsible for directing and coordinating the operations, maintenance and construction of project facilities; and is responsible for supervision and quality of work performed by the maintenance personnel, consultants and contractors providing services to the facility.The Operations Manager must assist in developing a customer orientation in all elements of the operation. Duties and responsibilities:
• Coordination and Supervision - Coordinate, manage and monitor the work flow of various departments in the organization.
• Financial - Review financial statements and related data of O & M Contracts. Proper utilization financial data to improve efficiency and reduce down time of assets. Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Recommend effective strategies for the financial well-being of the ECRC.
• Best Practices - Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
• Human Resources - Assist in recruitment and placement of required staff; establishment of organizational structure; delegation of tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance in partnership with the ED.
• Communication - Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, Accounts and Finance. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
• Strategic Input - Liaison with HOD and ED on daily basis. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
• Risk Management - Oversee organizational insurance policies. Ensure health and Safety committee meetings are held and tasks assigned.
• Customer Focus - responsible to the inhouse customers satisfaction for the efficient and customer orientated operations expected of the organization.
• Manage department and staff efficiency and effectiveness in planning, scheduling, and execution of daily work in electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, general and preventive maintenance, ensuring fiscal compliance with budgeted Maintenance expenditures.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan, manage and execute capital asset program in compliance with Annual Operating Plan and established policy.
• Lead a team including a project manager, 12 nos. Supervisors and 150 multi-skilled technicians for the project of Ministry of Health Bahrain.
• Communicating senior officials of Ministry of Health including various Health Centre’s administrators to ensure the smooth running of the project.
• Providing qualified man power from various disciplines with respect to the system demand to enhance the quality level up to utmost.
• Prepare ‘Planned Preventive Maintenance’ (PPM) Schedule and Routine Inspection and Service (RIS) schedule including maintenance tasks with multiple frequencies for assets and locations for various facilities.
• Cost control discipline and ensured by timely implanting of the project activities.
• Managing repair, maintenance & replacement of engineering equipments, appliances, furniture, furnishings, vehicles, building etc.
• Preparing Facility Assessment and Conditional Appraisal Reports either for the facility or the assets.
• Maintain safety in conformance with mandated specifications of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
• Offer proper coordination in between external contractors/vendors and operation team for timely completion of the task.
• Efficiently conduct annual reviews of all employees and initiate employee development plans ad resolve any disciplinary issues within the O & M Department.
• Carry out quality assurance inspections for percentage of jobs completed by utilizing two styles of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as IBM Maximo and e-Facility.
• Experience in maintaining call centre activities under Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Bahrain and the approximate maintenance requests per day is 350 calls from various MOH premises through 12 helpdesk officers.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Designing, Scheduling and implementing the planned preventive maintenance activity for various engineering assets with respect to the nature of assets and it’s category with multiple frequencies such as weekly, biweekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly etc.
• Keep track on all spares, consumables and tools inventory for all projects.
• Developed, implemented and directed the preventive and predictive maintenance program including daily scheduling and planning of maintenance activity.
• Keen on daily break down calls and solve issues in very minimum time in priority vise which has been mutually agreed with the client.
• Planning and preparing operational reports pertaining to finance required for maintaining office infrastructure and facilities.
• Responsible for job assessment and preparation of quotations for Non AMC jobs and manage all cash flows in the project/projects.
• Ensure all safety measures are following in the premise as per the International safety rules and regulations.
• Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
• Ensuring a positive work surrounding for the technicians and aware duties and responsibilities by conducting training time to time.
• Design various reporting formats and frequencies with respect to client’s requirement to convey them the activities and issues in prescribed time intervals.

• Facilitate the hiring of skilled technicians in their respective trades to support client’s needs as well as to fulfill required positions according to full time employee (FTE) budgets.

• Budgeting and cost control measures, monitoring budget vis-a-vis variance.

• Also responsible for maintaining Building Management System (BMS), Security systems, Telecommunications system, Audio and video systems, Automatic controls etc. and all other engineering related systems.
• Provide the day-to-day operational leadership for mechanics, electricians, technical crafts and associated personnel.
• Provide Graphs and charts for various operation reports with the help of the IBM-Maximo online system.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Major responsibility is to run the facility smoothly from breakdown issues and keep maintain all preventive and predictive activity measures for assets to get better output.
• Performing the functions of troubleshooting and preventive / breakdown maintenance for reducing operational issues and maintenance cost.
• Monitoring over all operational activities and take precautionary steps based on the SLA (Service Level Agreement) with the client.
• Conduct Integration activity in the site for updating all relevant data to the engineering maintenance system.

• Provide proper training for technicians regarding the operation, Health, safety and environmental activities which are coming under their responsibilities.
• Implemented various forms such as Work request, Asset transfer form, Asset disposal form, Asset registration form, Location Registration Form etc.
• Responsible for new installation and commissioning of all electromechanical equipments at the site.
• Taking the key control of CMMS (Central Maintenance Monitoring Station).
• Provide a good contribution in making budget for all disciplines which are coming under the responsibility of Facility Manager.
• Take effort for controlling operational cost by implementing various operation method and tactics effectively.

Anchoring projects for installation of HV, LV Cables & equipment; including works scheduling, monitoring progress of work to ensure timely completion without any cost of time overruns. Coordinating on-site project activities including site meetings with clients and Subcontractors, overseeing the performance of vendors, sub-contractors etc. and ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans. I had got opportunity to learn more about Costing, Estimation, inventory, purchasing etc.

Project Involvement:
• Electrification of multistoried buildings, shopping complex, group villas etc.
• Supply and Installation of E.L.V.S. Systems such as Traffic Barriers, Fire Alarm system, Access control system, Audio /Video Intercom system,
• Installation Data / Voice Networking structured cable system, Security System, Intercome System, PA system, Nurse call system etc.
• Erection and Installation of Street lighting system including cable laying, Cable Trays, Trunking and Supports and termination.
• Preparation and design of Earthing Pits, Structural Earthing & Equipment Earthing, Lightning Protection System.

Major involvements are related to the installation, Testing and commissioning of Transformers (rating up to 400KVA), Generators (rating up to 500KVA), Floor and wall mounted electrical panels for light and power loads Capacity charger Panels, Installation of Industrial and household electrical systems etc. I was also involved in erection and commissioning of motors up to 20HP, , cable laying, battery charger panels, system earthing and the electrification of the multistoried building, villas, residential and shopping complexes, as-built drawing and related jobs. With the above cited experience in the relevant field, I have got sufficient experience and ability to build up a good career in the field of electrical engineering.

And also installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical machines like Generators of capacity up to 250 KVA, Transformers of rating up to 350 KVA and Motors of rating up to 40HP. In this period I got experiences in erection and commissioning of lighting and load panels, battery charger panels, capacitor banks etc. I got experienced in implementation of cable laying of different ratings and system earthing. Handled parallel projects like Electrical installation of multi storied buildings, building complexes, villas etc. I involved in costing, estimation and design also.
