• Lead a team to ensure financial and operational requirements are met in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare annual budget on a target based methodology for Income statement, cash flow and Balance sheet for rolling FY.
• Perform monthly forecasting on YTD basis. Perform actual v/s forecasted analysis, balance sheet analysis on monthly basis, approve month end adjustments for P&L and B/S post analysis and review monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
• Prepare consolidated stock, production & sales report, product profitability report and metrics to highlight KPI’s and downtime commentaries or performance deviation analysis.
• Frequent travelling to business locations within the country for physical inspection of procurements to be routed to job contract site for production and accounting for the same.
• Manage working capital requirements in order to ensure efficient running of the business operations.
• Review and approve month end reports and journals to complete the month end period close on time.
• The designated profile requires working with minimal supervision with a small team for a BU. Allocate work within the team. Review & approve entries and reports to meet the month end closure and MI reporting deadlines.
• Review and approve all month end related reports and journals for the BU, perform pre closure check like Variance analysis for Income statement .month on month analysis of cost element &B/S analysis to check and explain variances and reason to stakeholders, CFO’s and Regional heads
• Perform post month end cost base analysis of P&L and explain trends over 6 months for abnormal variance in cost elements. Review and approve B/S recon’s, resolve aged items and approve B/S adjustments.
• Prepare adhoc analysis report on cost breakup of a/c subgroup like Payroll, Assets, and Property etc.
• Prepare monthly Recharges reporting model for 7APAC territories for settlement & reconciliation of the same post settlement via Khalix.
• Inter system recon for Sun, Oracle 9i and SGL variances arising out of master data errors or mapping issues.
Business Operation systems: Khalix (BI & MI), Walker, SGL (ERP), SAP (ERP), Oracle 9i(ERP), Sun console(ERP) and Finacle (Banking Operations)
• Assisting the FC with the annual Zero based budgeting process for Overheads and B/S with planning, collecting, consolidating and uploading budgeted figures onto GP Dynamics.
• Forecast overheads by adopting different techniques, collect, consolidation and update on YTD basis.
• Perform Actual v/s Forecast expense analysis of Consolidated Income statement cost element and centre wise.
• Perform pre closure B/S analysis, prepare commentaries, explanation & adjustment entries.
• Prepare profitability analysis report for segment and new catalogue on monthly as well as on adhoc basis using cognos cube and controller.
• Client business specific accounting including Joint venture, Dealer rebate and Advertising ROI analysis.
• Submit Monthly MI report of BU performance via Hyperion for fixed asset, recharges, Balance Sheet, Joint venture, corporate accounting and Income statement.
• Perform & review team performance of all reports and journals for timely month end close& B/S recon post closure.
• Assist in yearly and interim audits. Prepare internal reporting Dashboards, Metrices and KPI’s.
Business operating tools: Great Plains Dynamics (ERP), Cognos cube and controller, sales and stock reporting system, FRX, Hyperion and crystal reports.

The degree was achieved on attaining a minimum work experience of 2 years in finance domain and clearing the subjects Financial accounting , Macro Economics ,Micro Economics, Cost accounting, Income Tax , Treasury Management , Security Analysis , Portfolio Management ,Mutual Funds, International Trade etc
