Involved in Due Diligence for Financing and handled the transaction documents during IPO and funding through Debt like Share Holder Agreement, Share Purchase Agreement, Listing Agreement and Relationship Agreement with Promoter Companies etc., during IPO of the Company.
Instrumental in securing the favourable Arbitral Award (International Tribunal) on cost recovery worth ~$300Million. Implemented couple of International Arbitral Awards successfully in India, which were secured against Government, recovered sums in full.
Engaged in other Dispute Resolutions /mitigation of Litigations in India and overseas.
Advising Management/Assets/Exploration Team on Production Sharing Contracts and Operating Agreements.
Monitoring compliance & adherence under various Statutes and also under the provisions of production sharing contracts entered with Government’s in India and Sri Lanka. Conducting due diligence for oil and gas assets for acquisition. Automation of compliance tracker.
Played in key role in introducing the electronic legal compliance management system within Cairn which will in turn helps the management to monitor and gives comfort to submit the compliance certificates to BSE & NSE.
Working as a key member of the legal team in fulfilling its obligations to provide quality and timely legal and commercial advice to Management (including Exco, Board and Committee’s) and other functional departments and producing & exploration Assets.

Core member in securing the permanent and temporary land acquisition under the Land Acquisition Act. Handling various claims and cases against the enhancement in compensation.
Ensuring compliance at Operations site under Labour & Mines Laws.
Developing software entailing all important documents, agreements. List of applicable laws including the relevant provisions, list of legal firms in India and other countries etc.
Conducting audits (legal & financial) at operations site.
Support Admin and CSR activities at Site.
Preparation of project reports for working capital and term loan facilities for our clients with the guidelines from my superior.
Complete and thorough knowledge of almost all leading accounting packages like Tally5.4, Focus5.0, Wings, P.Mart, Ex-NGN. Exposure to computerised environment in corporate and non-corporate bodies.
Preparation of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and its relevant schedule required under statute.
Reconciliation of Account Receivables, Payables, Bank statements and other control ledgers like Stores Ledgers, Miscellaneous & Staff Advances Ledgers.
Preparation of multi report formats, MIS Reports and other allied report as require.
