1.Established the water treatment division and its production unit from scratch.
2.Sourcing new products so as to complete our portfolio as per market needs and opportunities
3.Manage and control sales activities of assigned territories & products to ensure provision of prompt and efficient service to customers.
4.Actively participate in the planning and formulation of long and short term sales strategies for the region.
5.Negotiation and formulation of sales contracts with customers.
6.Prepare budgets and forecasts and monitor product consumption in the region to ensure that they are as budgeted and forecasted.
7.Develop business for Ion exchange resins, Hydrazine Hydrate, Antiscalants for RO and Thermal desalination, organic and inorganic flocculants and coagulants, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, antifoams, sludge conditioners, and cleaning chemicals for cooling systems, steam boilers and hot water systems.
8.Provide corporate technical support for water treatment within the REDA group in other regions including sales & service training courses for sales teams in other branches within the group. Participate in the R&D of existing and new products based on market needs and opportunities. Manage the production process of water treatment chemicals for boilers, chillers, cooling towers and domestic water pipe networks. Represent company at various regional exhibitions.
9.Develop and deliver the sales budgets (volume and price) for area of responsibility.
10.Establish and maintain contact with existing and potential customers directly or through network, to identify sales opportunities and product requirements.
11.Propose and assist Regional Sales Director in the planning of long, medium and short term sales strategies that include studying the assigned region and formulating policy proposals for long term sales based on available products and market requirements.
12.Negotiate sales contracts in accordance with approved policy guidelines.
13.Discuss with potential and existing clients their requirements in light of product availability, discuss provisions, quantity, quality, price, duration of contract, shipping terms, price revisions, phase out procedures, payments, etc.
14.Gather information on and monitor competitors’ activities in the assigned region and recommend appropriate analysis to the Regional Director in formulating marketing strategy to maintain company’s competitive edge.
15.Regular visits to establish and develop strong and direct relationships with customers so as to achieve sales targets.
16.Participate in screening and appointment of new sales and service engineers.
17.Control pricing structures for assigned regions based on the approved Price Guideline.
18.Manage all aspects of performance of sales contracts.
19.Ensure maintenance of records on key contractual conditions and documentary requirements for each product sale, for processing, storage or special storage agreements and ensures compliance by all parties.
20.Provide technical support to all customers.
21.Conduct periodic regional performance reviews and take appropriate actions as necessary.
22.Coordinate and facilitates customer complaints until its final resolution as per defined procedure and policy.
