Planning, executing and tracing the movements of ocean shipments to GCC and other countries through vessel operators
- Preparation of shipping documentation including load list submission of Shipping Instructions
- Accurate verification of Bill of Lading, Submitting DGD, preparation of HBL and various certificates and
arranging letter of indemnity.
- Following up on the B/L draft & confirmation and amendments.
- Arrange the collection of the Bill of lading, settling payment with shipping line.
- Responsible to handle Customer Complaints and solving the problems.
- Communicating (phone & email) with clients and various internal teams, shipping lines / co-loader,
Transporters for smooth run of the business
- Arranging collection of the cargo as per the customer request
- Coordinating with internal team for proper execution of the shipment collection and delivery.
- Ensuring all the necessary export documents are available. If any missing coordinating with concern team
to provide the documents.
- Supporting the customers by giving proper guidance for the smooth run of the business
- Ensuring correct HS codes are used by shipper as per applicable custom regulations,
- Coordinate with superiors daily to adjust plans to changing demands whilst maintaining capacity, flexibility,
professionalism and promptness.
- Coordinate with the client and the Shipping lines to ensure proper executions of plans.
- Preparing daily trucks and shipments report and sharing to managers.
- Knowledge in Dubai trade Mirsel II, Processing bill of entry, Entry/Exit Gate pass
- Knowledge in customs inspection booking and claim submission
- Responsible and the ability to resolve all issues promptly and develop solutions to problems
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person
via calls and mails
* Providing sales and administrative support involving efficient handling of top
and confidential agreements.
* Coordinating and responding to all requests of internal meetings.
* Responsible for Generating Sales & Achieving Sales Target.
* Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make
sales
* Responding to incoming mails and phone queries
* Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with
quotations.
* Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and
managers.
* Preparing Purchase Order
* Proper execution of order and dispatch it on time.
* Follow up for payment.
* Handle all petty cash account, cash & cheque collections.
* Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and
demonstrations.
