Skills & Competencies:

•Act as ProMs (UNICEF Software) focal point to PME unit as per ProMs Terms of Reference; to ensure that All program information is accurately (and timely) entered in ProMs and with correct the PIDB Coding.
• Proficiency in program budgeting and generation periodic monthly budget reports from Cognos/ Briefing Book.
• Act as a Donor Reporting focal point as to alert and follow up with program sections on the status of their due reports, update ProMs indicating that reports had been sent to UNICEF HQNY.
• Excellent knowledge of operational and administrative procedure in processing of government’s for cash and supply assistance, CRQ’s, CAGs, Liquidations.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to provide support to government counterpart’s to prepare required documents and vouchers for liquidation of CAGs, examine submitted original invoices/documents and liquidate according to UNICEF financial rules.
• Assists PME unit in all necessary support required for key activities; Training, Workshops, meetings preparing estimated budget, hotel reservations, drafting contracts for hotels and Simultaneous
translation (if needed) as well as participate in the bilateral review meeting with counterparts.
• Provides assistance to PME unit in developing the Annual Work Plan AWP, enter the AWP in ProMS and make sure all tab folders are regularly updated. Making regular follow up on its implementation.
• Prepare Supply Plan based on government counterpart’s request for supplies and literature and then raise supply requisitions PGM’s and make regular follow up on the delivery status to ensure timely support to the programme.
• Assists in carrying out translation of project activity documents in English and Arabic. Maintain filing system within unit and ensure office supplies are requested and maintained in the unit.
• Provide back up support to the PME team members during their absence and any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Team player and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
