Study RFQ from Main Contractor to initiate tender clarifications for
Substation project in line with the project specification, Owner's
standard practices and contract document.
•
Arrange internal meeting within organisation with planning,
procurement, execution, design and QS team.
•
Prepare BOQ for the pricing of substation project by studying tender
drawing, project specification, project technical schedule and
historical information.
•
Float RFQ to respective vendors to get the individual item prices for
substation projects.
•
Arrange tender clarification meeting with respective vendors.•
Arrange meeting with main contractor for tender clarification
regarding specific queries in line with project specification and its
deviation in case to case basis.
•
Negotiation meeting with vendors along with Project Manager.•
Negotiation meeting with main contractor along with Project Manager
and QS.
•
Study contract agreement from main contractor in line with project
specification and owner's specific project requirement.
•
Study input drawing from main contractor to initiate technical Query
(TQ) to them to determine the probable risk during design stage and
to prepare the measures to mitigate the same.
•
Arrange meeting with design consultant(sub-contracted) to officially
hand over the input drawing along with the respective required load
data(already studied) to enable them to start detail design.
•
Preliminary Architectural drawings to be studied along with
specification and equipment manufacturer data(cable trays, opening
•
Notable Clients interacted with:
for equipment, etc) to establish a coordinated drawing to convey the
same for MEP and Fire Fighting design department to develop their
detail design and drawing.
Final coordinated drawing has to be given to structural department to
develop structural drawing which is fully coordinated with other
services.
•
Monitor the periodical submission of Architectural, MEP, Fire fighting
and Structural drawing to Project Consultant (Owner's Engineer).
•
Arrange design review meeting with main contractor, design
consultant, project consultant.
•
Issue IFC drawing officially to site for execution.•
Clarify all technical queries from site management, develop design
change note and shop drawing whenever necessary for site
execution.
•
Develop required method statement by assisting quality team.•
Assisting billing team by substantiating the design progress over
stipulated period of time.
•
Monitor the delays from design consultant and to prepare contractual
letter with appropriate record.
•
Prepare As-Built drawing in line with Red-marked drawing prepared
by respective site management.
•
Mange the whole activities with the help of a design team comprises
of 5 team members.
