1. FACILITY INFECTION CONTROL FOCAL PERSON
Designed an infection control plan for the facility in line with the ministry of health and WHO standards
ensuring that infection control measures are adhered to within the facility
Facilitated periodical swab collection on different strategic points within the facility and send for micro culture and sensitivity to prevent nosocomial infections by using proper disinfectants
2.TB INFECTION CONTROL FOCAL PERSON
Designed a TB infection control plan for the facility and ensuring that it is properly followed
Ensured a well ventilated facility to prevent the spread of TB
Screened and triaged coughers to prevent the spread of TB
Screened diagnosed, treated and cured TB and prevented spread within the community
Educated the community about the signs and symptoms of TB, spread and prevention
Screened all health workers within the facility for TB every six months to facilitate early diagnosis and treatment
Follow up TB treatment defaulters in the community to prevent spread of the disease to other members of the community

Provided contact slips to index patients as a tool for getting partners treated thereby preventing the spread of the disease
