Main duties include the following:
1- Construct detailed step by step drilling, workover and completion programs for execution on rig site as per FD well proposals and objectives.
2- Excute all drilling and workover operation engineering duties related to assigned onshore rigs.
3- Plan and specify drilling equipment, materials and services required for each operation of a certain well.
4- Plan and design the most cost effective and trouble free vertical, directional and horizontal well paths and ensure that care is taken to minimize formation damage and deviation from geological targets by daily monitoring and revision of drilling operations.
5- Participate in the training and development of assigned trainees.
6- Participate in the departmental well cost budget, cost control implementation and in-contract preparation and evaluation.
1- Perform daily inspection and test in a scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required by project specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site as per (ASTM, BS and DIN) standards.
2- Carry out inspections for all quality related procedures in the site and ensure that all activities at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plans.
2- Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and the site's resident engineer for meetings and collaboration on open quality issues to insure the closure of Non-Compliance Reports.
3- Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality.
4- Handling the of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
5- Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction operations in an multidisciplinary manner.
6- Develop methods and procedures for different activities including: Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis, Inspection Test Plan and Comprehensive Detailed Checklists to insure timley, safe, cost and effective excution of operations.
7- Carry out Internal Audits to verify the conformity of processes and procedures with required standards.
