The Department of International Relations has been providing education within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences since 1995. It conveys to its students the developments at the global and regional level and the dynamics of conflict and cooperation between international actors at a theoretical level. It aims to train graduates who can read theoretical approaches in the discipline together with international policy practices. It consists of three departments: International Politics, International Law and Political History. Students who are entitled to receive education in our department receive education in 2 types of programs at the undergraduate level. The first is the Turkish program with optional foreign language preparatory education, and the other is the program in which the education is given in English (100%). In the Department of International Relations there are 4 professors, 6 associate professors, 6 doctoral faculty members, 1 research assistant doctor and 7 research assistants doing their doctorate. In our department, a total of 53 courses are taught in eight semesters. Courses are given in the following areas, which are accepted as the basic areas of the discipline; theories of international relations, political history, international law, international politics, international economics, international organizations, human rights, regional studies, globalization, conflict management, European union, public diplomacy etc. Most of the courses given in the department are given by the current qualified academic staff. In addition, there are also competent faculty members from other departments and universities.
