Plan, assign, and supervise the maintenance activities of buildings, stationary engineers, contractors, laborers, janitors, receptionists, housekeepers, and support staff in the operation.

Recruit, select, train and develop staff.
Consult with staff, contractors, consultants, Inspectors & management regarding projects, building maintenance and installation issues and prepare detailed estimates and work schedules.
Evaluate bids, comparisons and make recommendations through the Purchasing Department.
Prepare annual budget estimates for maintenance projects and assist in the preparation of budgets for special projects as required.
Develop maintenance procedures and implement operational policies and procedures.
Conduct monthly scheduled building inspections to determine compliance with work orders, safety, cleanliness, etc. and analyze and develop plans of action for items noted during inspection.
Communicate issues to staff in relation to daily & monthly building inspections.
Conduct effective scheduling for testing of various building components (emergency generators, fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, alarm systems, etc.)
Plan, coordinate and supervise capital construction projects and maintenance projects.
Manage performance by monitoring results and utilize feedback to take appropriate action to achieve goals.
Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss safety issues, corrective actions to prevent accidents, and coordination of work orders. Ensure the safety of occupants and facilities.
Keep abreast of innovative technology and developments within the maintenance department and encourage staff to be innovative and financially responsible in maintenance and repair solutions.
Worked in a mega construction project SR 5.2 billion as a safety officer to ensure that construction works are performed safely.
Inspected construction sites at the mobilization stage, identify site related hazards and develop a plan to solve safety issues
Inspected the works of all subcontractors making sure they comply with HOCHTIEF safety procedures and guidelines
Provide training and orientation to all new staff, and subcontractors
Make sure that all project signs, and safety measures are in place
