 Responsible for Claims Servicing of all Non-Motor lines and reporting to the Senior Claims Manager. Handled mega claims pertaining to some of the largest infrastructure projects in the region.
 Settled one of the largest Hotel Material Damage and Business Interruption losses in Oman (in excess of USD 2.5 mn). The Hotel property was impacted by the Hikka event and had suffered considerable damage. Kept all stakeholders on board and ensured that reinsurers’ tie in was secured to progressively release high value claim disbursements.
 Concluded a major CAR claim (in excess of USD 1 mn) pertaining to ‘Kyarr event’ damages suffered by one of the largest break water constructions in GCC. Coordinated with multiple stakeholders like reinsurers, loss adjusters, design consultants etc to ensure prompt settlement to the insured.
 Settled a large value CAR claim (around USD 250, 000/-) against damages to the Wastewater network construction project in Muscat caused by widespread rain fall and floods in Jan 2020.
 Adept at assessing loss scenarios and convincing reinsurers / insureds to conclude claims in equitable manner.
 Implemented new Operational Protocols, Turn Around Processes and Loss Adjuster Selection Matrix to reduce errors and improve operational speed.
 Periodic information sharing with underwriters to support underwriting process.
 Implemented a new file management structure to ensure easy data storage and retrieval.

 Managed the entire Motor claims services at Vision Insurance Head Office and all the branches. Lead a team of 15 employees and processed an average of 4000 claims annually including Own Damage, Third Party Bodily Injury and Third-Party Property Damage.
 Designed and automated new standard operating procedures for improving the turn around time, reducing average claim cost, implemented underwriting controls for branch level motor insurance sales.
 Negotiated better discount structures from dealers and service centers that resulted in reduced repair costs.
 Implemented new process to improve salvage realization and transparency in salvage transactions.
 Took additional responsibility of ERP Business Analysis as part of process automation projects, through stages from drafting Ball park modelling, FSD’s, production and testing.
 MIS reporting for motor underwriting and claims.
