Major equipment and systems handled for the project include; Light crude oil system and heavy crude oil systems; Pig launcher, pig receiver, heat exchangers, Production separators, Electrostatic treater, crude heating medium (Heater treater) systems, Sedimentation tanks, surge/off spec tanks, Free water knockout drums, Gas systems; associated gas compressor packages, gas injection systems, degas pipes, gas separator, natural gas treatment packages, water injection system, Flare systems, Produced water treatment systems; CPI separators, water injection pumps, water disposal treatment packages, Instrument/utility air systems, nitrogen generator systems, chemical injection systems, Fire water systems including pumps, storage tanks, pressure proportionating units,
Prepare / review of Material Requisitions to vendors, prepare /participate in the technical evaluation of vendor bid offers.
Direct and provide guidance in the Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), review vendor drawings and documents.
Witness the Factory Acceptance Inspection and testing of the equipment and packages at vendors works.
Coordinate with procurement, expedite the materials and equipment to site.
Prepare/Review scope of work for the conceptual design and basic design.
Review proposals from contractors, evaluate the manpower charts and schedules of engineering activities and ensure project objectives are achieved with in the time and budget.
Monitor and manage the conceptual and basic design activities done by the engineering contractor.
Rotating and static equipment selection, sizing, participate in design review and HAZOP meetings.
Prepare /review the ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents for various Oil and Gas EPCC projects.
Establish EPCC proposal review criteria, identify and resolve discrepancies and deviations from scope of work and raise technical queries to contractor.
Review technical proposals and prepare technical bid evaluation reports for submitting to the management.
Review contract requirements for project execution.
Review detailed engineering documents submitted by EPCC contractor like specifications, design basis, Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings and other relevant technical documents.
Ensure that engineering activities are followed as per the scope of work, plan and schedule
Organize the issuance of engineering drawings and technical documents for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC’s), coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of data inputs.
Interface with various EPCC contractors, client, and vendor representatives, conduct internal meetings; ensure the progress of project in accordance with the schedule and project requirement.
Participate in HAZOP meeting with the contractor, client and representatives of other engineering disciplines.
Interface and provide clarification and guidance and technical support to construction sites and commissioning engineers, provide startup assistance as and when required.
Responsible for leading the overall discipline related activities for the successful completion of all phases of the project (conceptual design, basic design, EPCC stage) within allotted schedule, manpower and costs
