INDUCTION Furnace-LRF-CCM(SMS Concast) The grades here produced is TMT civil bar.
Job Functions & Responsibilities;
*Commissioning of 25mt LRF furnace.
*Co-ordinating with the IF department for incoming heats to lrf.
*Achieving the final chemistry and sending to ccm with the proper homogenisation of the liquid
Metal.
*Achieving the final chemistry with minimum usage of the Ferro alloys.
*Achieving the proper temperature (Liquidise Temp) before sending to CCM
*To ensure the daily stock of Ferro alloys on the shop and inform to store if any shortage
*To ensure the safety of the workers on shop flora.
*To co-ordinate with over head cranes while incoming and out going of ladle.

Is a 3LTPA steel manufacturing unit with
process route EAF-LRF-VD-CCM(SMS SIEMAG LEVEL2 AUTOMATION), the main grades being
produce here cater to the need of seamless tube industry as the state of art round bloom caster is at
disposal. Apart from these the company targets alloy steel market and is making various alloy steels
for automotive and other industries.
Job Functions & Responsibilities;
*Operating EAFs of capacity 60MT with different charge mix i.e.(PIG IRON+DRI, PIG
IRON+DRI+SCRAP) as per the availability of Pig iron, DRI and steel scrap at different
condition of the furnace.
*Coordinating with scrap yard supervisor and crane operators for uninterrupted operation of
furnaces.
*Monitoring & controlling the process parameter as per the SOP & Quality control of
different grades of steel as per the requirements.
*Co-ordination with mechanical, electrical and other service departments for smooth operation
to increase productivity and to optimize furnace availability time.
*Managing entire production operations targeting on top line & bottom line profitability
by ensuring optimal utilization of resources
*Ensuring housekeeping and safety at the shop floor.
*Maintain and preparation of daily and monthly records as per ISO formats.

in Steel
Melting Shop division consisting EAF, L.R.F, V.O.D and a 2 strand C.C.M Machine.
Job Functions & Responsibilities;
*Handling shifts as furnace in-charge of EAF and LRF technology of steel making.
*Operating EAFs of capacity 30MT/45MT with different charge mix i.e.(PIG IRON+DRI, PIG
IRON+DRI+SCRAP, POOLED IRON+DRI+SCRAP) as per the availability of Pig iron, DRI and
steel scrap at different condition of the furnace.
*Planning of Hot metal logistics, scrap handling and crane management for uninterrupted
operation of furnaces.
*Monitoring & controlling the process parameter as per the SOP & Quality control of different
grades of steel as per the requirements.
*Co-ordination with mechanical, electrical and other service departments for smooth
operation to increase productivity and to optimize furnace availability time.
*Handle the operations of L.R.F according to grade to be made and also having
knowledge of Vacuum degassing (V.D) process.
*Had made grades like 16mncr5, EN353, SAE52100 etc…
*Principal responsibilities;
A. To carry out smooth operation at all furnaces
B. To achieve production as per business plan.
C. Trying to reduce cost of production by reducing power, reducing aluminium
and other raw materials consumption.
*Responsibility for making the abnormality report if any interruption occurred during process.
*Making reports of the recovery of Ferro alloys like Nickel, Ferro Molybdenum.
*Making report of Monthly consumption of all consumables a nd calculate the costing of every
month.
*Maintain the ISO records according to standard formats.
TRAINING
* Summer Industrial Training in Visakhapatnam Steel plant for 4 Weeks: Worked over Blast
Furnace, Steel Melting Shop, Sinter Plant.
*Vocational Training In Vizag Profile Group: Worked over DRI plant of 350TPD capacity.
