Procurement Manager with over 19+ years of vast and diversified experience in various facets of
procuring materials from national and international markets. Specialized in vendor management,
contract management, and expertise in developing local vendors, to reducing the cost of
procurement of material. Proven history of successful execution in complex, multi-faceted, highly
competitive environments. Looking forward to leveraging my strong creative thinking,
procurement process and policies, financial statements, IMS internal auditing, collaboration,
logistics management, and contract administration skills to exceed organizational goals.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for entire Import & Export function.
Responsible for entire purchasing Function.
Responsible for entire Stores Function.
Planning and organizing of entire dispatches and Local distributions.
Other responsibilities :
Contribution to financial function.
Contribution to Administrative function.
Contribution to management decisions and new implementation.

* Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material
* Replenishment and Supplier Performance.
* Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.
* Projecting stock levels.
* Reviewing tenders and bids.
* Controlling the purchasing budget.
* Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time.
* Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components and equipment.
* Delivering cost savings for the company.
* Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company.
* Developing sourcing strategies.
* Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices.
* Resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers.
* Keeping all supplier programs current and accurate.
* Promoting best practise across the company.
* Developing relationships with distributors.
* Working to create and promote a safe working environment.
* Involved in selling off excess, damaged and inventory and stock.
* Provide assistance in Solicitation, Proposal Evaluation and Documentation efforts.
*Research unpaid purchase orders.
* Work with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing issues.
* Perform data entry into ERP systems for quote information
* Update current vendor lead time in ERP systems
* Prepare Material Requests (MRs) in ERP systems for the AA for various projects.
* Perform additional duties as may be assigned.
