Working in a pivotal role in winning & delivering in the market and growing the practice of Intelligent Automation, in close collaboration with the local, EMEA & CIC colleagues and 3rd party technology partners - Some highlights:

• Played an instrumental role in winning and then led delivery of 3 projects for one of the largest Real Estate Conglomerates in the world, Head quartered in the UAE, in their Finance function for 2 of their subsidiaries, as follows.
1. Business process reengineering led Intelligent Automation implementation leveraging Robotic process automation & Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), across Order to Cash (O2C) cycle
2. Procure to Pay (P2P) transformation across the Operating model including Process reengineering, Automation intervention in Oracle & then RPA and Org restructuring
• Led the delivery of the intelligent automation track, including designing an automation CoE, for the back-office transformation program of one large cross industry conglomerate with HQ in UAE, across Retail, Real Estate, Entertainment & the Group
• Performed review and leading practices comparison to develop diagnostic report with recommendations across the operating model - Process, People & Technology & the future roadmap for the R2R function - For one of the key ministries of a Federal Government in the GCC
• Led automation projects in the Contact Center & Procurement operation for one of the Leading Telecom players in Africa
• Led RPA Proof of Concept in the Finance function for one of the Leading Aluminum manufacturing companies in the GCC
• Led a large first of a kind complex automation deal in response to an RFP from the govt. of UAE, by assembling a 30+ member pursuit team with diverse skills across UAE, US, UK & India
• Led the pursuit for a global hotel group to introduce intelligent workflow automation across their back-office processes at global scale
• Imparted training to junior team members from GCC, Africa & Pakistan on Developing Strategy & Diagnostic - Feasibility study, Roadmap & Business case development with a focus on Intelligent Automation
• Authored and delivered the IBM Blueworks Live training, a key component of 'Virtual Becomes Reality' program' to promote and onboard IBMers at remote contactless working, post the breakout of COVID19 pandemic

• Played a pivotal role in winning and then led the delivery of the RPA pilot implementation for the largest oil & gas company in the world, in coordination with other member firms across the world and delivery center in India

• Played an instrumental role in supporting and winning a large pursuit on the digitization of one of the public-sector Power & Utilities companies in the UAE leveraging RPA/AI/cognitive; then led the automation assessment across all back-office functions, i.e., HR, Finance, Procurement

• Won and led the RPA proof of concept development for one of the large Retail groups in the UAE in their Supply chain management function

• Led Procure to Pay transformation project on ground, including a shard service center set up and implementing Robotics process automation, for the largest Islamic bank in the world, head quartered in the KSA. This was the first RPA development for EY in the GCC region. Drove the change management exercise across the bank as well

• Led Finance operating model review for a global shipping corporation, head quartered in the UAE
• Had key contribution in authoring a thought leadership on ‘Robotic process automation in the Gulf region’

• Was instrumental in driving EY’s participation in five external conferences across Dubai and Bahrain on RPA/AI & GBS/SSC in the last three years; including an RPA masterclass that has been conducted in three of these five events and generated significant awareness and traction in the market

• Anchor of the monthly RPA MENA community call, also well connected across the EY global RPA/AI community

• Actively supported in building and maintaining relationships with the leading RPA/AI vendors at global & GCC level, in coordination with other country practices

• Led the project on ground in UAE on setting up a Finance Shared Service Centre for a large Middle East based FMCG group, in line with global process & automation leading practices, covering diagnostic, design, implementation (including BPMS/DMS vendor evaluation & implementation support), stabilization support and post implementation review

• Led the end-to-end transition for KSA & UAE for Finance Shared service center set up for a Global security solution service provider, head quartered in UK - across KSA, UAE, UK, Malaysia & ANZ

• Carried out Performance review of the Finance/SCM/HR/IT shared service operating model & technology landscape for one of the largest IT distributors in MENA, head quartered in the UAE

• Was instrumental in developing the GBS/SSC/offshoring practice in the MENA region by conducting training and creating internal & external awareness

Ernst & Young, Performance improvement (PI) practice - Middle East & North Africa - Dubai branch

• Managed projects on ground with multiple stakeholders from kick off to presentation of recommendation to senior management

• Managed project engagement economics and compliance to Internal quality and risk management guideline

• Executed diagnosis & implementation of a cost optimization program for one of the leading IT service providers, head quartered in US. Led vendor contracting through RFI & RFP exercise to implement the future state operating model during implementation
• Executed a cross functional transformation project for a fortune 100 telecom MNC with an objective of profitability improvement, the first of its kind in the world Telecom industry, covering its Marketing, Finance, Network & IT function. This won accolade in client’s Global headquarter as project of the year
• Carried out Finance function transformation and Shared Service Centre diagnostic study of Mobile Commerce and GSM business for a multinational telecom service provider in their African operation
• Executed performance review of the SSC in India for one of the largest IT distributors in the Middle East covering Finance, Sales support, Procurement Operations, IT and HR
• Carried out performance review of the offshored HR operation of a global travel group head quartered at UK, managed by a third-party vendor in India
• Advised a Global Technology company, headquartered in US on their SSC Transition Methodology used to offshore its Finance & HR operation
