Primary purpose of the position: Coordination and improvement of FCA’s education activities to assist Syrian refugees and host population in Jordan.
•Actively participate in the planning and design of project activities in the sectors of education, livelihoods and peace.
•Actively support in writing project proposals and donor reports.
•Coordinate with local authorities, international and local organizations and other stakeholders in education-related issues
•Responsible for monitoring, supervision and evaluation of education activities in different field locations.
•Participate or lead in carrying out need assessments, surveys and evaluations in different field locations
•Lead in the recruitment and appraisal of teachers and facilitators.
•Make sure that beneficiaries are selected according to the defined criteria.
•Make sure curricula are selected based on needs.
•Ensure accountability and high quality standards of FCA interventions
•Attend ad hoc meetings with other organizations, potential partners and authorities.
•Ensure due reporting and follow up of the outcomes of the meeting within FCA .
•Provide technical expertise on activates related to Education in Jordan.
•Represent FCA in all Education working groups.
•Ensure quality control on FCA activities with the Syrian refugees in camps and the beneficiaries in host community.
•Provide expert advice on current and potential activities and programmes
responsible for providing management leadership and oversight in implementing all the programme interventions in emergency response and development working with the relevant Ministries, local partners and community based organizations, and SCI programme staff to ensure the timely implementation, quality and relevance of the child protection, ECCD, informal and none formal education interventions implemented inside the Child Family Centres (CFC).
Responsible for providing management and operational guidance to field teams and ensuring that high-quality activities are implemented in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring that CFC reporting requirements are met in a timely and quality manner. Liaise with and advise PQD team concerning relevant technical or quality issues associated with the programme in order to facilitate any necessary changes in programming design.
•Working closely in coordination with the field coordination and logistic team to ensure all purchase and supply requests related to the activities implemented in the CFC are done on time and according to SCI procedures
•Documenting in a timely manner, all progress challenges, and learning for future implementation
•Conducting regular field visits to CFC to verify quality /progress of all projects interventions and to provide operational and technical guidance and advice.
•Monitor budget / expenditure and report variances to the Central/South and North field offices in a timely manner for proper planning, reporting and adjustment.
•Assist in the preparation of work plans, reports and other project or management materials
•Participate in the humanitarian response led by SCI in all operational and thematic areas.

•Provide overall supervision to all activities implemented in the VTCs and nurseries in area of operation.
•Supervise and support all the Field Coordinators and Field Assistant in the area of operation, through facilitation of, and advising on implementation of, different interventions in VTCs and nurseries.
•Monitor and evaluate the implementation of activities inside the VTCs and nurseries to ensure they are completed according to plan and in a timely and effective manner, giving particular attention to quality aspects.
•Working closely with PQD staff in order to ensure the quality of the program activities.

The Parental Involvement Specialist responsible for designing, planning, building the capacity, and mentoring MoE staff in execution and rollout of all parental involvement activities in the ECE component
•Support MoE in developing an implementation and expansion plan
•Develop training package and integrate it in the revised teacher training package
•Build the capacity of ECE division, ECE supervisors, and ECE Technical Coordinators, as well as mentor capacity building workshops conducted by the MoE core training team
•Support MoE to support teachers and school principals to implement a series of parental involvement activities in K-3

Responsible for supporting the various training programs throughout the central and north region; and responsible for supporting the implementation of all component related activities at the directorates and school level.
•Participate in planning all ECE activities.
•Build and support directors and schools capacity in mobilizing local communities to provide resources and opportunities.
•Work closely with the local directorates of education to ensure active participation and follow up on schools performance.
•Organize all related events including workshops and meetings ensuring that participants are informed event package are prepared and all logistics are organized.
School support coordinator is responsible to ensure timely and quality implementation of chilled to chilled activities in public schools with Iraqi refugee students, and formulation of community protection committees of the Ta leem III program
