Talent Acquisition / Talent Retention
Designed, implemented & managed the recruitment strategy for multimillion-dollar portfolios in UAE, Qatar & KSA;
Contributing significantly in projects : UAE- ADNOC - CPD7010C6 (1 Billion AED), RCRC - KSA - Intelligent
Transportation System - ITS (1.2 Billion SAR) and Qatar- Lusail City Projects (1.5 Billion QR) and several more to
be named.
Setting clear goals and expectations for team members. Currently Managing a Team of 3 HR executives - (Recruiters
and Employee Mobility Specialist).
Working with the Middle East Executive Board, Regional Directors and Project Directors to secure and mobilize some
of the GCC’s largest and most complex Infrastructure, Design, Construction-PMC & O&G projects.
Managed and directed the recruitment team in handling full spectrum of recruitment activities in UAE & KSA region,
by conducting end-to-end recruitment from the point of identifying the recruitment needs, including writing Job
specs, advertising, screening, making compensation fitments, Interviewing, issuing Job Offers, liaising with PRO for
visa issuance, including induction and probationary evaluation.
Collaborate with business unit Director’s in identifying staffing needs including assistance in Project Manpower
Pricing, and manage the resourcing team to identify resources and ensure a perfect fit, by identifying cost effective
resources including internal and online database search, Job Portals, Job Boards, Social networking, head-hunting
and employee referrals.
Co-ordinate with Project site offices and facilitate the mobilization and demobilization processes to new/ on-going
PMC / Design/ Supervision projects. Reviewed and Updated existing employee retention strategies by opening
opportunity to company’s terminated Staff to be absorbed in New/Upcoming Projects.
Liaised with Recruitment executives and solidified relationships with stakeholders across DORSCH’s 6 verticals to
understand their resources needs with consultative feedback & evaluate recruitment issues, mobilization, and
progress of talent acquisition initiatives and initiate corrective strategies.
Employee Mobility
Currently handling deployment of new hires, internal transfers on Long term and Short term assignments for
expatriates and commuters for various locations particularly for UAE & KSA regions
Act as the focal point for escalation of mobilization related issues and queries throughout the life cycle of the
assignment
Support Staff mobilization in offshore/ Critical zones in procedure to secure Security passes - OPTIMA / CNIA.
HR Policy Implementation and administration
Enhance and enforce HR Policies & procedures and review existing policies on bi-annual basis and recommend
changes.
Work in coordination with HR Director in developing SOP’s and participate in amendments, revision and
implementation of HR Policies and procedures.
Induction & Orientation / Internships
Plan and Implement structured Induction and Orientation process, for newly recruited candidates to make them
familiar with Project details / Co-employees deployed on site, company’s HR Policy and standards etc
Facilitate Internship Program by coordinating with University Placement Officer and Functional Heads towards
student’s internship in Abu Dhabi & Qatar Office.
Major Bid / Tender Support
Working for Tendering procedure with Business Development & Proposal team in submission of Technical proposals,
including manpower Planning & Pricing, by arranging CV’s for Potential Key professionals and conducting market
surveys to estimate Pay- scale
Employee Relations
Provide counselling and handling issues /grievances of staff as and when required to mitigate problems and resolve
in an effective manner in consultation with Senior Management, by utilizing developed listening skills, multi-cultural
sensitivity and diplomacy while upholding confidentiality at all times.
