• Working in terminal which is having provision of storage, Heating, Blending facility for oil cargo received and delivered by road, by sea and through pipelines.
Management of operational relationships with suppliers, receivers, ship owners, brokers, agents, terminal operators, customs and other service providers.

. Coordinating logistics and documentary requirements with each counterparty, arranging for inspection, sampling, and analysis of merchandise, preparation of contracts in conjunction with traders/customers and legal department, Invoicing to customers, ports in line with payment term.Data Management through IT System, fix Vessels and ensure smooth operations.

• Handling & monitoring the SCADA and SAAB system from the control room for execution of the operations (Vessel Discharge /Loading, Inter tank transfer (ITT), Pipeline Transfer (PLT), Truck Loading/Unloading, blending).
• Daily reconciliation of various products handled and preparing MIS reports
and contributes to stock control.
• Prepare daily action list for the operational activities carried out for oil movement.
• Responsible for recording, compiling, reporting and documenting operating data while maintaining and repairing equipments, inspecting pipelines and monitoring process indicators, instruments, gauges and meters to detect and report any possible problems.
• Follow all the laid down quality control procedures prior to, during and after transfer/loading/discharge to ensure that all products meet specification.
• Operates and checks valves, lines, pumps, DG sets, and compressor to meet operating requirements, which includes starting up and stabilizing main oil line pumps manifold, transfer lines, flow as appropriate.
• Maintain shift logbook and digital log book to record the logs and other details.
• Ensures the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work instructions are followed and responsible for developing work instructions for non standard operations.
• Complies with ISO 9001:2015 as Quality, ISO 14001 as Environmental and 45001 as Occ. Health & Safety Management System.
• Ensure the safe movement of product by supervising and guidance. by dipping; opening and closing dock line valves; collecting samples before, during and after discharge; entering data onto input forms; maintaining hourly logs; managing tank switch-over for delivery of multiple products; draining water from tanks
• When appropriate Witness shipboard sampling and measurements of receipts and deliveries, in conjunction with ship personnel and the nominated surveyors. Collate and deliver all documentation to support the Receipts and Deliveries, including any Notices of Protest, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Quality as appropriate.
• Regular communication with PORT OF FUJAIRAH and vessel agents for berthing of vessels and responsible for vessel acceptance, nomination/Q88/vetting procedures.
• Complete oil accounting calculations of quantities of products or bunker fuels loaded onto coastal or export vessels, entering the information into the oil accounting database and providing the agreed documentation to the identified parties.
• Checks and monitors gas levels at various areas in the plant during maintenance activities and attends maintenance work to ensure safe operations consistent with related to work permit(process LOTO/Electrical LOTO)
• Comfortable in managing safety operations as per OISD and ISGOTT Standard
• Handled Hot Oil unit operations to maintain cargo temperature at required level.
• Handled tank truck loading and unloading operation.
• Well versed with pigging operations with cryogenic nitrogen and compressed air.
• Responsible for daily safety at Terminal through Permit to Work system and participation in Management of change procedures.
• Reports all near miss and incidents promptly.

• Hands-on experience in performing tank farm and plant operations in terminal which having floating roof tanks, fixed roof tanks and handles almost all petroleum products (class A, B, C).
• Monitoring the ongoing operations in the terminal, that includes receipt and dispatch of petroleum products by ocean tankers, railcars, tank trucks from DCS panel i.e. Central Control Room
• My scope of work includes checking the line-up, monitoring of Tank parameters through ATG readings, tank preparation for receipt and dispatch of petroleum products to various units and to offsite terminals (rail and road terminal & marine terminal), which includes tank settling, mixing, product sampling, water draining. Monitoring pumps, handing over of pumps to electrical/mechanical dept for maintenance. Routine checkup of area for any abnormality.
• Pigging operation like cargo pigging and empty line pigging by means of nitrogen and air.
• Managing the process of preparing Tank modes after every operation and Stock Accounting.
• Calibration of Storage/Proven/Slop Tanks, Pipelines, Flow meters, Radar Gauges and Densitometer.
• Daily Road-Tank Truck Scheduling, Stock Accounting of Vessel uploading & unloading operations, pipeline transfers, Receipts/Dispatches coordinating with Railway Authorities on issues like Rake placement and Timely dispatch.
• Maintaining Compressors, Diesel Generator sets, Pumps, Oil-Water Separators, Floating Roof Seals, PV / Gate / Ball Valves etc.
• Carryout minor running repairs wherever possible and details faults for subsequent preparation of Defect Cards.
• Operations and Maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant and Oil Water Separator Plant.
• Carry out the gas tests for combustible gas, oxygen, H2S and record it in a work permit.
• Coordinating with the terminal for implementation of Management of Change application in the terminal.
• Berthing the vessel in coordination with mooring master from port control.
• Complete and document appropriate ship/shore safety checks as required.
• Record shipping movements in the approach channel and maintain details logs of all berthing and loading/discharging times and all the parameters are logged as per procedure.
• Boarding the vessel and attending the pre-discharge meeting along with chief officer of the vessel, boarding officer, loading master, surveyors and sharing the information about loading/discharge plan, ship/shore facilities & restrictions from both side and emergency shutdown signals.
• Read, record and transmit meteorological data such as temperature, wind velocity and its direction etc.
• As a loading master handling the LPG, Ammonia and POL vessel loading and unloading operations.
• Regular communication with outside agencies like Port Customers, Port users, Railway department, other tankfarms to plan the operations activities.
• Regular communication with internal customers to meet operations oriented requirements.
• Supply of bunker to Cargo and Navy supply ships like cst180, cst380, LHSF, HSD.
• Doing cargo tank gauging, sampling and cargo calculations on vessel.
• From DCS panel monitoring and controlling field parameter like ROV, ESD.
• Executing the MLA connection to vessel. After completion of cargo discharge/loading operation blowing the MLA and disconnecting from vessel.
• Well versed with pigging operations with cryogenic nitrogen and compressed air.
• Updating the daily reports and the doing preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Act as incident Coordinator in case of any incident/accident. Responsible for healthiness of jetty fire fighting equipments, Oil spill recovery equipments
• Ensuring optimum utilization of available resource.
• Supervision, distributing work and controlling workmen.
• Maintaining housekeeping in the Jetty
• Planning and preparation for the shipment on daily basis by attending Port meeting.
