• Prepares HSE topics for Daily Toolbox Talks and Weekly General Safety Meeting to be conducted by Worksite Supervisors.
• Conducts Safety Induction to all newly hired workers about “ALSTOM” HSE requirements before they are permitted to work at the site.

• Monitors and check daily, if Worksite Supervisors are implementing the “ALSTOM” PERMIT TO WORK System (e.g. Hot, Cold, Spark Potential, Radiography Permits and Confined Space Entry Certificate).
• Informed Worksite Supervisors and other Personnel regarding the importance and proper usage & care of PPE.
• Conduct daily inspection of facilities, equipment, tools, materials to be use by employee to ensure corrective actions are taken to eliminate identified hazards on safety.
• Monitors the Safe Work Procedures in Confined Space, Crane & Rigging Operations, Man-basket, Working @ Height, Proper use of Hand and Power Tools etc.
• Reviews accident, injury, and illness reports to detect problem areas related to employee safety.
• Prepare required materials and documents relating to safety procedures.
• Attends Weekly Safety Coordination and Monthly Safety Committee Meeting.
• Conducts employee safety and environment training, including class lectures and demonstrate hands on training.

• Providing support and assistance to workers so that all the company safety procedures are followed by conducting tool box talks and arranging site training programs.
• Conducting inspections of work areas for safe working.
• Coordinating with field supervisors for risk assessment before start of activities, working on heavy equipments and working at heights.
• Organizing site sign boards and displays of safety instructions, maintenance of fire fighting equipment at site.
• Generating field accident reports.
