Responsible for the overall management of the Shipping department and Operations. Monitor operations to ensure customers are getting the service they expect and customers are satisfied .
Constantly monitor business performance and growth against budget/plan
Controlling cost to optimise the Bottom line.
Direct the team in identifying and developing new market segments, creating/tapping new opportunities and developing relationship with customers and stake holders
Implementing new models to improve the level of services and products in order to increase overall project performance level.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and customers.
Direct the formulation and implementation of sales and marketing (commercial) and Business plan overseeing that all commercial plans and objectives are aligned with strategies and objectives
Create a healthy organizational climate and culture, lead and manage the team so that overall performance is maximized
Play key role in recruiting, and developing talented staff
Lead the team and department (commercial & operation) by performing the leadership role effectively
Working and reporting closely to the stakeholders and board.
Complete Dubai operation and commercial of the feeders services .
Reporting to the Vice President of Container shipping .
