a. Conduct staff residential security surveys & security assessment of operational areas and advise
b. Ensure physical security of staff and assets. Assess the security situation at the duty station on a regular basis and update staff accordingly.
c. Liaise with relevant stakeholders and interlocutors, such as UN, Government of Pakistan, Donors and independent analytical bodies.
d. Produce intellectually rigorous and best-practice analytical product in support of the organization.

g. Collect data through English/non English language electronic and print media and contact/liaise with civil administration, police, army, civil society in order to provide advance information on rapidly evolving security situation in consultation with the Security operations manager (s).
h. Development and maintain security and contingency plans, threat assessment, building/emergency evacuation etc.
i. Attend INGOs Security forum meetings when required in Islamabad and field locations.
j. Maintain/update the Security Plan and staff/dependents data periodically. Also maintain updated staff/dependent data by zones.
k. Support develop & update SOPs for all Operations and ensure compliance by all staff members with the Safety and Security Adviser.
l. Establish and implement access control mechanism (visitor/vehicle screening) to the office premises. Also ensure issuance/updating ID to staff and maintain proper record of the same.
m. Ensure fire safety arrangements (fire extinguishers, smoke detectors etc) are in place and keep up-to-date records of the equipments.
n. Organize training courses and rehearsals for wardens and staff periodically on security issues/awareness and preparedness (i.e. first aid, fire fighting, building/emergency evacuation, security clearances, convoy procedures, traffic accidents, hostage incidents, bomb threats, vehicle hijacking, surviving tactics/kidnapping, earthquake/disaster etc)

My prime duties were to prevent crimes with in Military and Liberian's community. In case of crime my duties were to control the situation. Later once the situation comes under control then collection of evidences basing on evidences of crime scene then to carry out investigations. Adding to above all traffic control and investigations of traffic accidents were also my responsibilities. I also performed anti smuggling duties during my stay as Officer Commanding Military Police Unit of United Nations Peace Keeping Mission, Liberia.
