One of the largest paper manufacturing unit of Saudi Arabia. Currently exports to Middle East Countries, South Asian and European Countries and import from Far East countries.
As Commercial Manager,
I am responsible for the following:

•Supervision of all trade finance operation (export/ import) under letter of credit, bank avalization, documentary collection and/or open account.
•Discounting of export bills and receivables.
•Supervise all logistic operation by land or by sea including booking of Containers, cargo manifest and tracking of shipment till arrive to the final destination.
•Generate Agency Agreement, Confidentiality Agreement and MOU.
•Liaise with external and internal auditors for all matters relating to trade finance and logistics.
•Timely closing of monthly accounts in respect of recording trade transactions.

Member Company’s Credit Committee:

•Perform as a member Credit Committee, monitoring customer statistics and recommend credit facilities after analysing of their financials with assurance of sufficient collateral.
• Participated in client meetings on financial issues of trade finance deals.
•Approved Export LCs (Sight and Usance) as workable and cleanly negotiable.

Debt Collection: (Overseas)

•Managed a portfolio of accounts over $100million.
•Negotiated settlement of accounts and reasonable payment arrangements within corporate guidelines.
•Supervise the daily collection of outstanding receivables; manage collectors to optimize.

Liaise with Credit Insurance Companies:

•Responsible to secure all open account transactions under approved credit limits of domestic and export customers by ICIEC (Islamic Corporation for Insurance of Export Credit).
•Arranged receivable financing of all domestic/export customers duly insured by ICIEC from different financial institutes.
