Business Development Manager
I handle the team of sales executives and strategic partners to meet periodical sales targets. Develop new clientele and re-sellers to increase the overall profitability and revenue share. Also, develop marketing / CRM related solutions over mobile marketing platform pertaining to Text / Voice / Internet.

Personal Exposure:
• Manage business development opportunities for mobile marketing business and telecom VAS to expand the business footprint and volume.
• Act as a sales engagement adviser to the teams in India / UAE / MENA region to develop compelling business solutions.
• Responsible for analysis of market trends and to identify potential threats, areas of opportunity, competitor's strategy to decide the next logical move(s) in business expansion.
• Provide professional business solution according to survey and analysis result in local market to the Customer's Marketing Dept. / IT Dept. to discuss on strategic level to influence their business requirement / strategy/ RFP and decision making / SLA’s to increase mobishastra's winning ratio.
• Communicate with service end-user, manage the interface between the service and end-user, comb necessary information coming from end-user, and provide constructive suggestion to improve the user experience.
• Lead the virtual team to formulate sales argumentation, customer key issues analysis, SWOT and report the situation to management for decision making.
• Assist the Head of Sales Support to sharpen the Mobile marketing and telecom VAS Hosting solutions / offerings and the sales management process.

The role involved me in handling the designated team of sales associates and boosting sales of the various eye wear in-house brands of the company, as well as the ones sourced from other distributors, besides other accessories and utilities. Handling customer issues and dealing with the various other departments of the company to deliver the best in-class customer service and create a productive working environment.

Personal Exposure:
 Dealt with customer queries about different eye-wear brands and working on the prices of the various products to benefit the company in the best possible way, making sure the customer is fully satisfied.
 Trained and mentored new staff from time to time to enhance their skills.
 Managed the stock count periodically and made requests for new stocks from distributors.
 Arranged relevant eye check-up for customers facing optical issues and thereby ordered relevant optical products as prescribed by the optometrist to overcome the issue.
 Took orders for repairs of optical eye-wears, and coordinated with the central repair unit on regular basis to update the customers with their order.
 Organized the display in-store and managed the internal promotions of the company. Made sure the store is presentable at all times and if in case any problems arise contact the relevant departments to fix the issue on ASAP basis.
 Driven the entire team of sales associates to meet the pre-set sales targets of the assigned stores.

The role involved me into managing the sales as well customer service following the SAP Business One module for Customer Relationship Management. In case of any complaints received take relevant action, making sure the customers are fully satisfied.

Personal Exposure:
 Ensured all the duties of the ticket-office are carried out by self and others in an organized manner by making sure, all enquiries of the customers are fully answered and customers are satisfied. Also managed special duties during times of disruption.
 Managed internal as well as external promotions of the company and ensured all the cash and debit/credit card sales are recorded and accurate as per the company standards and processed applications for refunds complying with accounting instructions.
 Provided training and coaching to new staff, also updated all staff about new ticket regulations and change in company policies. Ensured all staff has the required level of products knowledge to deal with customer queries.
 Completed all required reports regarding daily sales and promotions, customer feedback and team management activities.
 Interpret and analyze team sales data to forecast and enhance sales productivity. Organized surveys and personal interviews with customers on timely basis to analyze the level of customer satisfaction.
 Ensured the equipments, standards of appearance and customer service of the ticket-office complies with the company standards at all times. If needed report faults to relevant departments.

The role basically was to manage the designated team of sales consultants, making sure the level of customer service and sales targets are always met. Any new promotions or change in tariffs are being passed on to retailers as well as the company staff’s.

Personal Exposure:

 Audited & coached the team to achieve set team KPI’s, ensuring the sales targets are achieved. Identified and confront performance issues - including communication of gaps in performance, coaching to improve performance, clearly setting expectations and took further disciplinary action as appropriate.
 Achieved the monthly gross addition and air time targets through signing in new retail shops for LEBARA within the assigned territory and with the help of promotions done by sales consultants.
 Performed additional tasks set by the management team as required.

Joined the company during its phase of launching in a new target market region of Central India. The basic role was to handle the Market Research, Media Planning and overall business development activities by means of seminars, events, etc. Building new strategic alliances with companies for corporate training and placements of trainees and with colleges for training, Market Research, Media Planning, Branding by means of Seminars, Outsourced Training, and Event Management.

Personal Exposure:
 Managed the engagement of the company with external stakeholders. This basically included setting, monitoring and evaluating the business development plans; project and resource management for projects and initiatives that involve staffing for various promotional and educational events.
 Managed and developed the brand image of the company though the implementation of relevant media. Worked in co-ordination with the marketing team to provide support to the on-field sales staff.
 Compiled a report on monthly basis on consumer needs by means of surveys and market-mapping strategies.
 Built many successful strategic alliances with many MNC’s in local market for placement of the trainees in case of internships or full-time job roles.
 Organized many successful educational and job fairs to generate prospective data-base and increase business profitability.
