Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participates in planning the pre-tender & pre-contract stages
• Responsible for preparation of bill of quantities, evaluation of tenders and execution of contracts documents according to compliance with company policy and procedures
• Preparation of preliminary estimation, budget estimation, detailed estimation (with rate analysis) insurance claims and administration
• Establish and maintaining relationship with partners / suppliers
• Ensures timely delivery within the initially agreed delivery times as well as receiving order confirmations and guarding the delivery according the agreed T&C’s
• Participates in an effective cost improvement and savings program for purchased materials and services. Identify, explore and implement cost reduction ideas with suppliers
• Supports project management and selling efforts during the proposal and order processing stages
• Preparation of Purchase orders following company procedures in accordance with ISO-9001
• Adhere to accounting rules and procedures with respect to purchasing in terms of pricing, process and payments
• Co-ordinate with team to ensure minimum stock (safety stock) available at the warehouse stores
• Bargaining (negotiations) with supplier to reach reasonable proposals / settlement
• Preparation of forecasts, budgets and cost control measures. Maintenance and control of records related to all commercial activities as required by the contract conditions
• Ability to review frame agreements, prepare comparison sheets, implement cost saving techniques
• Experience with customer evaluation and qualification process, also with maintaining a high control into company approved suppliers list
• Provide supporting services in the interpretation of Contracts during the course of administration or at Contracts close-out
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participating in the development and implementation of goals, policies and priorities for proposals and procurement activities and operations
• Taking lead on the technical, contracts, and pricing teams in creating winning proposals
• Participating in the process of purchase orders, requisitions, bids, & contracts; solicits quotations, place & expedite orders, maintains & keeps records
• Evaluating the work of assigned staff; administering work assignments and monitoring deadlines; meeting with staff to identify and resolve problems; counseling employees to correct deficiencies; and recommending disciplinary actions
• Review and preparing formal bid evaluation process and Requests for Proposals, including preparation of vendor matrix, scheduling meetings (including bid conferences), conduct bid/proposal openings and vendor meetings; preparing reports of meetings; ensures compliance with solicitation requirements, policies, and procedures; analyses bid proposals (Technical & commercial) to ensure all required standards are met, and completes evaluation reports in compliance with solicitation requirements and proposals and procurement policies
• Assisting the project sites with procurement needs by providing information on prices, products, materials and services
• Consolidating the project sites need to maximize consistent and cost effective operations; ensures purchasing practices are in compliance with legal, and the professional requirements
• Establish & maintaining relationship with partners / suppliers
• Providing for and/or participating in staff training
• Working with Attorney’s office in the event of a bid protest and contract negotiations; ensures policies are legally executed
• Administering the country project procurements. Participating in the development and administration of the budget. Updating procedure manual and documents
• Planning the maintenance schedule on weekly / monthly basis.
• To support department manager in all operational issues
• Create and develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure adherence of the schedules to achieve maximum operations
• Supervising the whole maintenance process and controlling the labor work force and organizing work schedules.
• Preparing a daily report regarding all the maintenance work
• To provide Safety Induction and training to the employees.
• Conduct HSE Inspection to maintains property life safety systems (firefighting equipment, sprinkler systems and alarm systems)
• Responsible for Maintenance of HVAC, mechanical machineries, plumbing & firefighting system for the production area of medicines
• Demonstrable skills in dealing and working closely with suppliers on complex and inter related issues on an ongoing basis
• Aim to achieve zero incidents and full adherence to company HSE practices
• Procurement and negotiations of orders and services with suppliers / service providers
