- Selecting new products and reviewing the old with Sr. Buyers and Buyers.
- Finding the right supplier.
- Negotiating prices (so the store doesn’t get ripped off).
- Ensuring the products are delivered on time.
- Helping to interpret reports and predicting future sales.
- Stock control.
- Reacting to any changes in customer demand and Market Demand.
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones.
- Getting feedback from customers.
- Assisting Buyers, Sr. Buyers and liaising with suppliers on a day to day or weekly basis.
- Issuing Range Plans to coordinators & Planners after seeking necessary approvals from Sr. buyers, Head of Department and Management.
- Issuing purchase order to suppliers after seeking necessary approvals.
- Chasing order acknowledgements and administering the system to reflect accurate delivery time scales
- Coordinating with suppliers on invoice & deliveries.
- Submitting weekly/monthly reports to Head of Department.
- Product development of additional items for the Saudi Arabia market to supplement the ranges where necessary
- Analyze class and style performance on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis.
