Job description:-
Developing detailed design solutions and being responsible for the delivery of a range for Voice, Data, Wireless, Intercom, IoT enabled devices, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, ACS.
Audio Visual Systems and other ELV systems, ensure that selection and requisition of materials performed as per specifications for SMART Villa Project.
Lead & own the process of approving the Design T& C efficiently implementing the outside and inside plants used to provide voice, data, IPTV, CCTV and wireless networks for 65 buildings.
Develop a project specific system design with all associated documentation (layouts, specifications, block diagrams, calculations, etc.).
Act as package engineer for Telecom packages and work in close cooperation to perform technical bid evaluations.
Review vendor data and ensure sub-systems are properly integrated and/or interfaced.
Ensure that interfaces with other disciplines are consistent and aligned.
Design and implement of Out-side plant Conduit system, Manholes and Pedestals Ensure that the system is fully in line with the Regulatory, Classification requirements, standards and Client requirements.
Actively provide feedback to Group Technical Standards to assure continuous improvement and maintaining the competitiveness in regards of technical solutions and cost effectiveness.
Project approval for Engineering Detail Design and Issue for Construction (IFC) stages that submitted by Contractor.
Monitor the project implementation and construction phase and ensure the ELV(Extra Low Voltage) cope of the projects are compliance with KAUST ITNC Standard
Preparation of Scope of Work and Project Specification
Finding creative solutions to the challenges of network design of different telecom rooms to Centralized Telecom Room.
Apply Engineering design standards
Coordinate with different Engineering groups and Operation IT entities to review/design/approve ELV scope
Decommissioning for existing system & Preparation of EIL Items
Professional experience in Projects conceptual design (System architecture, Specifications & Design calculation)
Responsible for implementation of all Fibre Optic Cable and UTP pulling, Splicing, termination, testing and commissioning of data, VoIP, video, wireless, IPTV outlets and fibre backbone connectivity.
Lead the Telecom team and manage the flow of information to team(s) and / or Telecom Integrator to enable them to prepare Layouts, Cable Block diagrams, Termination diagrams, Loop diagrams, Cable list, Junction box list and Bulk MTOs.
Coordinating with the ARAMCO PMT and KAUST proponent authorities for the implementation of Project as per International and ARAMCO standards
Performing site inspection, implementing guidelines of OSP/ISP Engineering practices with familiarization of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES)
Closing Exceptional items lists (EIL) with KAUST Stake holders
Provide material take-off and bill of quantities as per the project requirement
Preparing material submittals as per IFC (Issue For Construction drawings)
Supervising for the Preparation of duct banks as per the IFC
Responsible for pulling, splicing and testing of 4 loops of over 12 kms of FOC from Alternate exchange buildings to Substation4, Substation 5 & inside the KAUST University
Preparation of redline drawings & as build drawings
Ensure project is done in compliance with Saudi Aramco and international standards & specification
Attending RFI & coordinating with ARAMCO PID for clearance.
