Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair the CNS Systems at the designated site to ensure they remain fully operational without any interruptions and / outages.
• Supervise the airside technicians during the designated shift to ensure all matters related to
engineering works are handled properly.
• Responsible to maintain (HW & SW) the flight simulator (MicroNav).
• Distribute the workload amongst the shift technicians to ensure the planned monthly maintenance schedule is is delivered in an efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate and detailed servicing logs and data for record.
• Review the scope and specifications of the new / existing systems to assist with upgrade and
replacement.
• Preparation of daily, monthly equipment status reports, Safety Performance Indicator and man hour calculation report.
• Ground checks and flight Calibration of Radio Navigation aids like ILS, DVOR & DME.
• Maintenance of AFTN (Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network gateway).
• Maintenance of OLDI (Online Data Interchange)
• Maintenance (Automatic Terminal Information System) and configuration of ATIS in the AWOS system.
• Taking a proactive part in the training provided by manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and fix the CNS Systems at the assigned location to guarantee continuous, fault-free functioning.
• Maintenance (Automatic Terminal Information System) and configuration of ATIS with Microstep system.
• Preparation of daily, monthly equipment status reports, Safety Performance Indicator and man hour calculation report.
• To ensure preventive maintenance activities are planned as per annual maintenance planner.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out scheduled maintenance of the air navigation services (CNS/ATM/MET systems) as per the annual maintenance plan/ schedule.
• Co-ordinate with airside Engineer upon task completion to ensure necessary checks are carried out before handover to ATC operations.
• Complete and file the related documentation to ensure records are maintained as per the standard
operating procedure (SOP).
• Identify and escalate challenges and issues that may cause delay in the task completion
• Ensure safety guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Automatic Weather Observation System (AWOS 7) by combitech &
standby AWOS (MIDAS IV) system by vaisala Finland.
