Worked as a safety engineer on the Telenor HQ office Construction project, my responsibilities as Safety Engineers were

• Develop project specified HSE plan and it’s supporting documents for onward submission along with proposal to the customer and approval.
• Review and monitor prevention and precautions against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise, radiation and manual handling risks.
• Ensure that all HSE Procedures/Policies & Plans are implemented and followed at all levels.
• Co-ordinate with client and Management to achieve desired safety standards.
• Observes work methods and procedures of employees to determine unsafe act and unsafe conditions
• Corporate Safety Meetings for all hands, and other communications to keep crews Response Plan.
• Carry out regular workplace health, safety, welfare, fire and inspections, producing reports and recommendations for improvement
• Maintaining and tracking safety files, medical files, training files, certifications, and licenses.
• Training, Certifications and Record Keeping and new hire safety training orientations (PPE, Work at Height, Excavation, Work in Confined Space, etc.)
• Supervise incident and accident investigations through a dedicated HSE committee to perform incident and accident evaluation by analysing root cause to place effective and corrective control measures.
• Review and update emergency procedures, evacuation plans, safety signs and incident reporting
• Ensure each workplace satisfies the local and international standards for health, safety and welfare requirements
• Identification, assessment and documentation of HSE Risk reduction and control strategies for major hazards.
• Evaluate and report performance of HSE team to Site Manager/Project Manager
• Train the project personnel on the project HSE training programs using audio/video aids, training materials, HSE Tools & Gears by on job and class room training

Worked as a site engineer on New Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad, my responsibilities include the below

• Inspection and verify the installation of services/equipment’s per BOQ, approved drawings, technical specification and standards such as BS, EU, and IEC.
• Organize the electrical/ low voltage installation works and get appropriate consolidation during installation at site.
• Understanding the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
• Coordination with Client / Consultant representatives for any site issues and inspection of works.
• Implement company Project management policies at site.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and witness Electrical equipment tests at manufacturer’s premises.
• Follow up on latest equipment technologies available in the market and test prototypes.
• Ensure technicians are executing their works in accordance with their job descriptions.
• Ensure that the work is done to the Technical services Department's requirements and standards for the area and, in accordance with the policies and standard operating procedures of the company.
• Ensuring that all technical tasks assigned to the Team are carried out efficiently and are of the highest professional standards possible within the company safety requirement.
• Ensuring that all the technical reports, files and records complies accurately and maintained as required.
• Ensuring that all technical equipment manuals, subcontractor's scope and safety manuals are read and understood.
• Maintained effective working relationship with contractors, consultants, client, vendors, outside agencies and other staffs.

Worked as a site engineer at Naval Anchorage Housing Scheme Phase 1 Islamabad, my responsibilities include inspection of the site on daily basis various time and inspection of the ongoing work such as Testing and Commissioning of following electrical Equipments and Systems in accordance with IEC and BS standards and as per project specifications.
