Stakeholder Engagement & Underwriter Support:

Act as the key contact for client-side underwriters, gathering
requirements, clarifying assumptions, and presenting outputs.
• Translate complex model results into actionable insights aligned with
underwriting expectations.
• Conduct regular discussions to align delivery with evolving client needs.
Risk Analytics & Catastrophe Modeling Expertise:
•
Actively involved in executing catastrophe modeling across various natural
perils including flood, earthquake, windstorm, fire, and convective storm.
•
Work across multiple lines of business including Property, Marine, Mining,
and Onshore Energy, tailoring modeling approaches based on line-specific
exposure characteristics.
• Responsible for cleansing, validating, and preparing large exposure
datasets received in multiple formats (Excel, PDF, text) to ensure they are
accurate and compatible with modeling platforms.
•
Apply policy conditions within RMS RiskLink and AIR Touchstone to
generate reliable and meaningful risk estimates.
• Perform pre-bind CAT modeling to support risk selection and pricing
decisions by identifying potential loss exposures before policy issuance.
• Conduct post-bind modeling and aggregation to monitor bound exposures,
assess portfolio accumulation, and ensure alignment with underwriting
guidelines and capacity thresholds.
• Regularly handle technically complex accounts that require customized
model setup or close coordination with stakeholders for assumption
validation.
• Collaborate with underwriters to clarify modeling inputs and ensure
outputs align with policy intent and business expectations.
Process Automation & Optimization:
• Lead initiatives to automate repetitive modeling tasks using Excel VBA and
macros.
• Partner with internal tech teams to implement process improvements,
resulting in faster delivery and reduced manual errors.
• Promote process documentation and reusable templates to support scale
and consistency.

• Supported catastrophe modeling and pricing for multiple P&C lines using
RMS tools.

• Processed and transformed large exposure datasets into model-ready
formats.
