ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshooting Switch, Router, Firewall, MWG and Riverbed.
Troubleshooting/configuration of Riverbed optimization, firmware upgradation.
McaFee web proxy troubleshooting configuration.
McaFee Web gateway troubleshooting URL/Website access management.
Firewall logs analysis/reports, allow block traffic, firmware upgradation.
Monitoring and reporting through CMC tool.
Device monitoring/configuration through NMS tool Solarwind, Cacti, Oputils.
Fetch report through (CSR McaFee) tool for internet usage history etc.
Get Verify the Category through McaFee (trustedsource) portal.
Verify/check the URL for any fishing, Malware/adware related sites and take action accordingly.
Riverbed configuration, upgradation, troubleshooting, account/access management.
Report/logs fetching through SteelCentralTM Controller (SCC).
Report logs through McaFee MWG.
Configuring, maintaining and basic troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
Troubleshoot all networking problems to ensure minimum downtime and maximum availability of network. Handle troubleshooting of static routing and Dynamic Routing in Cisco Router.
Defining the issue and providing the troubleshooting details done to higher level teams, for saving of time and pinpointing the issue for early resolution
Remote administration of LAN/WAN devices and Data Communication links and services.
Maintaining clients in terms of call handling, case handling, emails, proper shift handovers with updates and end-to-end follow-up on the cases.
Coordinating and escalating with service providers during network issues.
Identify the faulty asset &Coordinating with vendors during network device related issues.
Preparing & Maintaining documents related to implementation/change, Port detail, Switch uplinks details, IP address details, Core devices interface details, Backup reports, Link down detail sheet etc.
Communicate on a regular basis about incidents on the activity scope.
Handle Phone calls (incident, escalation and request for information).
Handle request/incident tickets on the activity scope.
Maintenance of SLA standards.
Manage daily, weekly and monthly performance report.
Monitoring of Network device (switch/router/firewall) through NMS tools (Cacti & Solarwind) and coordinate with relevant team for resolution.
Providing support to US, UK and Malaysia based users for their IT related issues through inbound or outbound calls.
Providing remote support all IT related issues like MS office and other application.
Creation of AD account or E-mail account on AD and exchange server.
Unlock or password reset.
Creating APSE account on lotus domino.
Providing support on Hand held devices.
Trouble shooting of MS lync.
All virus related issue, installation of SEPM and scanning.
Mail revert of users with proper resolution or follow up
to provide L1 Level troubleshooting on MGX, Switch, router.
also for all desktop, laptop application, os related issues.
