Hopetech DMCC deliver high-quality products and services to meet the needs and expecta'ons of their clients. As an IT Support Engineer my responsibili'es include:
• Server Administra'on and Contract Management: I oversee user groups, security permissions, and group policies, ensuring the smooth opera'on of system components. Addi'onally, I handle contract renewal and acquisi'on in compliance with company policy.
• Infrastructure Maintenance and Support: My responsibili'es encompass maintaining various hardware components, including laptops, desktops, servers, routers, switches, and printers. I also manage security system updates and provide support for internet, intranet, LAN, WAN, and Windows networking segments.
• Interdepartmental Collabora'on and Technical Support: I collaborate with diferent teams for troubleshoo'ng and root cause analysis. I ensure the reliable
opera'on of computer systems, network servers, ERP applica'ons, database servers, websites, and cloud networks, fostering seamless integra'on across
pla'orms.
• Performance Monitoring and Improvement: I monitor IT performance metrics to iden'fy areas for enhancement, ensuring the IT department meets
organiza'onal needs efec'vely.
• Upgrades, Automa'on, and Integra'on: My role involves installing and upgrading computer components and so'ware, managing virtual servers, and
integra'ng automa'on processes. I also configure CCTV systems, IP telephony, and PBX systems.
• Troubleshoo'ng, Documenta'on, and Service Management: I address hardware and so'ware issues, documen'ng problems and solu'ons while priori'zing tasks based on impact. I handle service requests, so'ware installa'ons, ERP upgrades, user management, DNS resolu'on, and an'virus solu'ons. Addi'onally, I manage backup opera'ons and implement data protec'on measures, disaster recovery plans, and failover procedures.
Achievements/Projects
• Implement MS 365 with domain user integra'on and setup file sharing and email accounts for individual and group discussion.
• LAN WAN network for branch ofice and connect with head ofice by using firewall VPN Tunneling.
RAK Ghani Glass a limited liability company incorporated in Ras Al Khaimah, an Emirate of United Arab Emirates, has set up a Company for manufacturing and sale of pharmaceu'cal Glass Containers to tap the growing demand in local & global markets.
• Conduct rou'ne audits of systems and backups as scheduled. Implement safety procedures, IT policies, and data recovery plans. Administer server machines and install centraliza'on opera'on applica'ons. Create budgets, user manuals, IT department policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ensure 'mely installa'ons, maintenance, and upgrades to meet client specifica'ons. Configure and implement OS, Virtualiza'on, SQL server, and Network devices. Monitor SHERP ERP Modules and SQL database backups as scheduled. Address day-to-day SHERP ERP issues and provide end-user training on patches and developments.
• Track and integrate the latest technologies and so'ware licenses into exis'ng infrastructure. Provide daily support for copiers, printers, fax machines, and
so'ware, upda'ng firmware as needed. Coordinate with vendors to set up and supervise Email domains and websites.
• Install and implement RFID, mee'ng projectors, and IP PBX systems. Establish data backup procedures for network shared drives and cri'cal systems.
Achievements/Projects
• Implemented cost-saving measures:
1. Prepared and implemented the ERP SHERP Produc'on Module, resul'ng in a 15% reduc'on in costs. 2. Established and applied a new TAX system (VAT) in Supply Chain Management SHERP ERP at no addi'onal cost. 3. Achieved a 28% cost saving in IP CCTVs installa'on and WiFi network configura'on.
• Upgraded infrastructure and security:
1. Deployed the new Sonic Firewall ZT500 for enhanced security measures.
• Op'mized network setup:
1. Planned and installed LAN & WAN networks in company accommoda'ons, achieving a 38% cost saving from the es'mated budget.
2. Implemented a new RFID system, resul'ng in cost savings and improved atendance accuracy.
Shell Bird Group was established in 2005, an engineering company with the aim of providing professional MEP services to infrastructure, u'li'es and industrial sectors of the UAE. Shell Bird started expanding its business in 2008 and by 2012, turned into a group of companies ofering a wide range of EPC services to a diversified customer base.
• Installed, configured, and maintained opera'ng systems, server machines, CCTVs, so'ware, and hardware, ensuring regular backups for data and cri'cal
systems to uphold user accessibility and network performance. Tracked so'ware licenses and executed necessary updates, upgrades, and changes on a daily or weekly basis.
• Addressed LAN/WAN, laptop/PC, and other user gadget problems, both so'ware and hardware-related, through troubleshoo'ng measures. Developed and
updated departmental budgets while enhancing compu'ng and network infrastructure for increased eficiency. Managed all installed systems, intranet, and
departmental inventory, overseeing their func'onality and performance.
• Established, tested, and managed opera'ng systems, applica'on so'ware, and system management tools. Supervised the development of customized so'ware and hardware requirements, ensuring the design of security systems to safeguard data integrity. Provided 'mely reports on the log sheet to facilitate swi' responses to any glitches.
