Worked for Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited for last 24 years and 17 months experience in Lucent Technologies Saudi Arab with multi-task assignments. My main jobs responsibilities spans follow;
• Maintained Power Plant of Digital Telephone Exchanges of Alcatel, Siemens and ZTE.
• Installation, testing & commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of Stand by Diesel Generator sets up to 500KVA.
• Installation of ATS, Power DBs, Contactors, Circuit breakers, and relays.
• Cabling and connections of equipment as per specification and layouts.
• Fault Handling of D.G sets in case any abnormal situation or failure.
• Routine maintenance of D.G sets as per SOP, maintenance of ATS, (changing of lub. oil, changing of Filters air, fuel. tensioning adjustment of all belts, all meters and gauges, cleaning of Radiator. Checking of all electrical contacts, cleaning of Alternator etc..
• Routine checkup of rectifiers as per their load sharing and its cleaning.
• Testing of Back up batteries bank, measuring of voltage, temperature and acid gravity.
• Testing & commissioning of Generators.
• Up keeping of Air-conditioning units .monitors suction and discharge pressure, cleaning of outdoor units, cleaning of air filters and humidifiers and its water line and water drain lines.
• Testing and checking of all circuit breakers and contactors.
• Troubleshoot air-conditioners in the emergency situations.
• Maintaining Electrification LV Power cables laying and lighting of exchange building and offices.
• Maintaining & installation of electric Power DBs & Panels.
• Earth testing of Stand by DG set and Rectifiers by earth tester meter.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance Scheduling.
• Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications.
• Optimum utilization of Human resource.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Procurement of necessary Spares and electrical items for smooth operation, budget, tender, Copex and Opex.
• Conducting on job briefing for updating the staff.
• Meeting and close liaison with vendors for all issues and settlements of problems with acceptable time frame.
• ATS/AMF panel maintenance of stand by DG set during fault.
• Liaising national electric company for major breakdown or power failure.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, electrical tools and electrical measuring meters.
• Hands on experience of all the above mentioned tasks.
• Simulation of all alarms Rectifiers failure, power failure, stand by DG set failure, fire alarms etc., administrative, technical, health, safety and environment issues.
OTHER WORK PROFILE
• Performing O&M jobs on EWSD (Siemens), E-10B (Alcatel), TMN-1300(Alcatel NMC), 5ESS (Lucent), Eagle 5 (Tekelec. “Signaling Transfer Point”).
• Installation of Racks, cabling, Power connectivity, Configuration of Systems.
• Optical Fiber, Ethernet(Cat5, Cat6) cables and 2 Mb (PCM, Transmission) cables in the cable tray
• Testing of cables at DDF and ODF.
• Up-gradation of telecommunication system.

• Monitor and fix the alarms with help of software diagnostics programs and also perform hardware maintenance.

• Worked in OMC and NMC which were monitored by EWSD (Siemens) and E10b (Alcatel) exchanges.

from Pakistan & abroad.
