• Review & Design the Network Infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, PIX/ASA/Netscreen SSG Firewalls/VPNs GTA Firewall, Nortel Contivity and Bluecoat Proxy server.
• To provide 2nd & 3rd Level Support for Cisco Router, Switches and Firewall channel setup
• Partly lead/One of the members of the Network Operational Center (NOC) for proactive Monitoring and troubleshooting problems pertaining to WAN / LAN /Firewall
• Provide support for top technical issues in Network Data/Security areas through working with internal and external resources.
• Documentation of newly installed Network devices, providing smooth transition to the support team, assisting support team to resolve complicated issues in a professional manner.
• Reviewing and implementing critical changes for Network Infrastructure including multiple security zones and DMZs, also troubleshooting Network Priority issues, reporting critical incidents to higher management and design proactive plans to overcome those issues in the future effectively.
• Life cycle management of Network infrastructure, security analysis, functional analysis, health check, base line check/management, problem analysis and updating the documentation in case of any change.
• Conduct the Security Acceptance Test (SAT) after major changes in the network and conduct yearly Penetration Test of the Firewall Channels.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
