Responsible for manageing and coordinating safety affairs of five work over rigs with client.organize safety activities and safety improvement plans.presenting safety advisory help for subcontractors.Conducting weekly inspection for the rig sites.manageing and organizing rig HSE officers and distribute their roles and responsibilities.
I have beein and still working in this company since one year ago, the company is ZPCE (chinese nationality) and operator company is GAZPROM .
My position is Oilfield HSE supervisor and this my role as following:
Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on new sites and design risk mitigation
measures
1.Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE.
2.Monitor HSE controllers in executing continuous audits.
3.Manage the HSE controllers and coordinate their audit schedule
4. Provide HSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed corrective
action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation.
5.Investigate the root cause HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers,
clients and contractors.
6.Follows up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensures that any
certification requirements are complied with;
7. Audit work being performed with ''Safe Work Permit”
8. Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations;
9.Assist local management in the preparation and presentation of field HSE meetings;
10.Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses;
11.Review and analyse accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action
recommendations;
12. Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;
13.Supervises the regular inspection of firefighting, safety and emergency response
equipment.
14.Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures
and evacuation plans
15. Supervise on-site doctors and medical emergency response preparation and
implementation;
16.Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions
for theatre operations
1- hold training sessions for Iraqi locals and foreigners.
2- conduct differnt types of emergency drills(H2S drill, Kick drill, First aid drill, Spill drill, Fire drill and security drill.
3-daily and weekly safety inspection.
4-safety induction for new comers and visitors.
working as HSE officer .my job is mainly focus on implementing safety regulations in oil drilling sites and conduct the required safety drills and inspections also training the foreigners and locals about safe working and doing their jobs in safe and right way.
