• Lead Plant operations turnaround and bring the Plant as per International Standards in Food Safety, People Management and Manufacturing Excellence.
• Responsible for all KPIs of Production Department namely Process loss, Packaging loss, Chemical cost, Processing & packaging Labor Cost, MME, OEE, Production Variance & operational reliability.
• Manage & schedule the production operations on site to ensure timely manufacturing within the agreed global standards of cost, quality, EH&S and productivity.
• Manage and ensure monitoring of machines, providing full support to Maintenance team in their activities also share machine health status on daily and weekly basis, promoting TPM culture through training of staff and strengthening maintenance feedback process.
• Maintain quality standards above threshold, ensure all quality systems are in place and working perfectly
• Introduce new crewing patterns for improved productivity.
• Engage and motivate people to perform to the best of their capabilities to achieve departmental objectives. Organize team building activities to celebrate, recognize and reward the high performers.
• Enriching and promoting culture of healthy work place environment through trainings, skill development program and other performance rewards.
• Working with Brand and Quality teams on the reduction of market complaints, in depth root cause analysis and taking concrete counter measures to ensure “zero defects” product.
• Leading Kaizen cell for increasing Productivity and human resource efficiency.
• Reduction in wastages through RCA and CAPA implementation.
• Maximizing resource and equipment utilization.
• To manage production shifts of ice-cream at Wall’s factory.
• Meeting daily production targets whilst continually reducing downtime
• To ensure OEE, Waste, Quality, Health & Safety and Hygiene and ensure implementation of TPM on the production floor.
• Collated all daily and weekly production figures and produced management reports, developed key planning indicators, reports and graphs. Presentation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Managing large sized team of around 250 workers in a fast paced manufacturing facility.
• Responsible for the motivating the level of leading & on-job training of team members identifying, evaluating & developing initiatives to ensure skill & competency levels are maintained.
• To ensure the safe and effective operation of the machinery and equipment, buildings and premises within the framework of H.S.H.E and employment legislation.
• To lead and realign technical group in managing product quality and to increase customer satisfaction
• Design and implement product development processes and procedure while conducting product trials
• Responsible for localization of regional product specifications
• To maintain information regarding the specifications in co-ordination with Regional Development Centre.
• Responsible for overall reporting of design quality to the region for research and development, across categories.
