I joined Protiviti as a Consultant following my KPMG experience in Amman, Jordan. My responsibility was focusing on the delivery of internal audit and business risk advisory services to clients across the UAE and MENA region in various industries including government, free zones, insurance, etc. where I provided insights and valuable recommendations to clients.
Conducted various internal audit for several top clients in the UAE, including local government entities and private sector wherein the departments audited included core and support functions such as; finance, HR, marketing and many more.
I have conducted compliance reviews in government entity clients and reviewed department such as (Finance, Marketing and company establishment).
I am currently working as an internal auditor for KPMG and this role concise of preparing audit programs and audit plans for clients in different industries.
This job Role also concise of going into the field to execute the audit plan, different clients vary from the timescale and it vary in the business processes included in the job.
I considered this course as an important and vital course which motivated me to be organized, knowledgable in business development and enriched me with problem solving skills. It has also benefited me to gain perfect knowledge on human resource management and how to develop team work spirit within an organization. I have also gained much knowledge about different sectors within a business, which helped me to choose wisely the career path a professional wants, and provided me the ability to communicate with people from different cultures and origins.
