•Understand the requirements and deliverable requirements and provide field guidance and ensure compliance with company specifications.
•Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics to determine layout of equipment installations and perform P&ID check-up and mark-up.
•Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and replacements, to track the performance and history of equipment.
•Inspect jobs upon completion and arrange the efficient internal function test for the installed equipment.
•Responsible for ensuring consistency of pre commissioning and commissioning activities and issuing all types of permits to work after ensuring it follows the guidelines.
•Initiates and carries out projects to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
•Organizes and participates in regular Inventory/stock checks at all locations where stock is held (including third party storage) at the shore base warehouse.
•Coordinate with other departments and teams to facilitate the smooth operation of interconnected systems and address cross-functional issues.
•Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
•Review project scope of work, schedules, and specifications.
•Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
•Support and assist during inspections, adjustments, parts, replacements.
•Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with company and international standards.
•Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
•Comply with relevant HSE policies, updated procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards.
•Ensures that plant operations follow operating guidelines, and that related water is safe and acceptable entering the distribution system.
•Diagnose malfunctions in wastewater and water treatment plants and determine appropriate corrective action.
•Maintain accurate records of engineering designs, specifications, and project documentation.
•Prepare, review, and update any necessary reports, standard operating procedures, and data spreadsheets.
•Determines quantity and type of supplies and equipment required in maintenance work and recommend improvements and modifications to the water and wastewater treatment plants.
•Develop and recommend procedures and standards to support operational and maintenance requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Assigns and monitors maintenance and construction operations to assure compliance with appropriate quality standards and safety regulations.
•Collaborate with vendors to procure equipment that meets specifications and quality standards.
•Calibration of chemical injection equipment and adjusting chemical feed rates and maintaining records of chemical usage and water quality measurements.
•Performs routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to include operating adjustments and calibrations on equipment, mechanical and electrical work, lubricating and replacing equipment parts.
•Implement adjustments and improvements to optimize treatment efficiency.
•Determines daily water requirements of distribution system and amounts required for treatment to meet needs of consumers.
