Worked as Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Engineer. My responsibilities included supervising the fabrications and insulations for all Mud Logging instrumentation sensors in N/KOM (Nakilat - Keppel Offshore & Marine) shipyard in Ras Laffan Industrial area in Qatar and involved communications with the clients (RasGas-QP-Shell-Exxon Mobil- Jx). Worked as a Senior Field Engineer and I & C Engineer at Aramco (Saudi) and KOC (Kuwait) in I-LOOP project and production line flow back treatment (On-shore and Off-shore) for oil and gas production wells. My responsibilities included supervising I-LOOP system fabrication and operation crew and involved communications with the client. The following summarizes most of my responsibilities:
o Built an automated I-Loop system to treat the H2S in oil and gas producing wells using TIA Portal with Siemens S7 1200 PLC in Master and Slaves configuration.
o Worked in I-Loop project (H2S scavenger, Emulsion breaker and Viscosity reducer), Heavy oil exploration project (Optimized flaring, Emulsion breaker and Viscosity reducer) and Zero flaring project (Cyclonic solids removal, Emulsion breaker and solids wash).
o Automation system support for operations and fabrication (Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 Professional with software TIA portal) and treatment data analysis.
o System monitoring through wireless Scalene and HMI in isolated control cabin, SMS alerts and Emergency Shutdown via Siemens GSM Module. It is a portable system with around 80 IO’s connected to the different equipment like I-loop, Tanks, pumps, flow lines and scrubber. We designed it through Turck Quick connect system for less commissioning time and smooth operations. Checking and applying all P & ID drawings.
o Field Operation coordination for rig less testing operations and projects for Saudi ARAMCO and Kuwait KOC.
o Operating and maintaining control panels (Siemens System), Chemical Injection Pumps and all instrumentation and control sensors in operation.
o To supervise several offshore jobs and projects for Saudi ARAMCO (Zero flaring, Inline Test and clean up for oil and gas producing wells).
o To calculate oil and water flow rates manually and by using computer programs.
o Implementation of all job paper work, time sheet and job ticket.
o All field location support for instrumentation and automation system In addition to monitoring work and team work of the technical and operation support.

Worked as an Electrical/Mechanical MLWD engineer. My main responsibilities were spitted into 2 main roles:
o To support the DWD team by providing the required level of maintenance to the DWD tools (Pulsers, Directional Probes, Telemetry & Subs) according to the standard procedures. This also involved using the SAP system to check the tool history, CBM & to track the required inventory levels.
o Maintaining the MLWD surface units and joint SDL Combo units. This included maintaining all the unit components such as Insite Machines, Data Transmission equipment (RTO & Wits), Data Acquisition Systems, Tool Communications kit, Power Transformer, Main Distribution Panels, Pressurization System & all surface instrumentation sensors. In 2008, I participated in the refurbishment campaign for the MLWD units needed for Egypt & Libya operations.
o Also my responsibilities included supporting the operations in various ways including frequent tasks at On & Off-shore rigs such as:
 Troubleshooting all kinds of MLWD tool issues and surface instrumentation sensors at rig sites (Insite machines problems and upgrades, Tool Communication issues & Surface unit problems).
 Several opportunities to work as MWD field engineer.
 Supporting complicated rig ups and remote upgrades (MWD & SDL).
 Setting up and managing RTO & Wits transmission at rig sites and customer locations.
o I’ve also gained several abroad exposures which enriched my skills such as:
 Supporting Algeria for 1 month as an MLWD tech support for units and downhole tools.
 Supporting Libya for 2 months as an MLWD tech support for units and downhole tools.
 Supporting UAE for 1 month as an MLWD tech support team leader for units and downhole tools.
