Conduct relevant research on sites and projects. Main project focuses on submitting a research paper on the urban planning environment in Ras Al Khaimah. The Foundation seek to publish the final product.
Main task: Updating and finalising the policy frameworks for the update of the Urban Structure Plan.
Other responsibilities included:
- Assisting with various urban planning and development projects, include site visits;
- Contributing to other on-going projects and work of the Municipality as requested.
Worked on a freelance basis formulating Environmental Management Plans and Sustainability Policies. The Company has a number of expansion projects in place which require an EMP, I wrote these for the Company ready for submittal to the Environmental Agency (EPDA). Additionally the Company is introducing a sustainability framework and I was part of the team involved in design and implementation.
