• Design and layout of electronic and print materials for all brands and products of alkaram studio, Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle, MANGO and alkaram Home (flyers, posters, banners, social media posts, animated web banners, collateral, logos, invitations, postcards, newsletters, newspaper ads, etc.);
• Carrying design and web projects from concept to completion while adhering to the brand standards;
• Maintaining alkaram’s branding so it remains consistent and is used properly by external parties or remote groups, working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager;
• Assisting Marketing and Communications Manager with creative concept and collaterals for the alkaram studio, Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle, MANGO and alkaram Home: Sales, product launches, social media content, web banners, posters, banners, invitations, ads, etc;
• Maintaining and enhancing websites by adding and improving design and interactive features;
• Ensuring the coding standards are met; optimising the web architectures for navigability and accessibility, and ensuring the website and databases are being backed up;
• Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and decision-makers;
• Backup and maintenance of alkaram’s website and subsites, including all databases;
• Complete maintenance and installation of all the Mac systems in the department.
• Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, Web Design, video and sound.
• Review and approve proofs of printed copy and art and copy materials developed by staff members;
• Manage own accounts and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements;
• Confer with creative, art, copy-writing, or production department heads to discuss client requirements and presentation concepts, and to coordinate creative activities;
• Develop animated web banners and website content for local as well as International clients;
• Present final layouts to clients for approval;
• Confer with clients to determine objectives, budget, background information, and presentation approaches, styles, and techniques;
• Complete maintenance and installation of all the Mac systems in the department.
• Liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget;
• Managing client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production;
• Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales;
