Planning and organizing work in the Procurement Department from planning, organizing and implementing the purchase of any raw materials, production requirements, maintenance and operation requirements, as well as the various requirements for managing the company with the required specifications, on time and at the best prices.
Responsibility and supervision
The purchasing manager is responsible for everything related to his administration and for the integrity of the system in the procurement department in solidarity with the warehouse manager and the administrative manager and is fully responsible for all the documents he approves and the decisions he takes. Participation in senior management meetings and express an opinion on the results and decisions Participation and effective attendance in the periodic meetings of management Participation in the formulation of the objectives and main plans of the organization Responsible for planning and preparing the executive programs for procurement, which ultimately lead to achieving the main objectives for the institution
Responsible for planning to meet the needs through the approved suppliers of the company who are registered, evaluated and approved
- Responsible for issuing a record for suppliers showing all supplier data and the constant search for new suppliers to reach the lowest prices, which is ultimately in the interest of the institution
Responsible for ensuring the supplier’s ability to meet the requirements of purchase orders, requests for quotations, and materials survey, prior to its approval
Responsible for following up the implementation of the procurement plans
Training individuals working in the procurement department on their work and transferring his experience to them so that they are qualified to replace him in the event of a vacancy in the position
Participate in the preparation of procedures for the procurement department with the representative of the administration for the quality system and the director of planning and quality assurance- suggest improvement, remedial and preventive measures that will improve the performance of the work in his department
Issuing appropriate decisions within the limits of his powers, which may be a reason for improving the system in the procurement department
Suggesting the appropriate budget for the procurement department within the capabilities of the organization based on studies
Submit a weekly report to the Administrative Director to show what has been accomplished and what has been postponed, with a statement of the reason
All of the above must be done in accordance with the official procedure approved by the Procurement Department
