• Manage and maintain proper internal control over the accounting section’ processes.
• Manage with the CFO the preparation, reviewing and submission of precise and well-timed annual financial statements to external auditors and governmental authorities.
• Monitor the issuance for sub ledger reports and ensure their accuracy and compliance with the general ledger through approving monthly reconciliation between sub ledger and general ledger.
• Review, verify and approve monthly bank reconciliations to ensure their correctness and avoid long pending transactions.
• Monitor the prepayments, the accruals and charge the expense on monthly basis.
• Review the related parties and the subsidiaries balances.
• Monitor vendor payments ensuring compliance with finance policies and procedures, completeness of payments supporting documents and required approvals as per the authority matrix.
• Review accrued expenses such as VAT and Zakat to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Review monthly trial balance to issue monthly financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Review with CFO the investments accounts in subsidiaries.
• Review the Asset Register to ensure that all fixed assets are within fixed asset policy and Monitor the monthly closing.
• Monitor the fixed assets register with proper categories, classifications and proper tagging to ensure applying the proper internal controls.
Supervises the staff and responsible for managing 13 accountants to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed.
• Manage the activities and work of subordinates and evaluate their performance to ensure that all work within is carried out in an efficient manner.
Provide technical accounting support and interpretation to management and accountants.
Recommend improvements to the Group policies and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of financial planning and reporting activity

Prepare the financial statements in a timely manner as per the company policies and standards.
Controls and maintains the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all company transactions;
Reviews entries to the general ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the company's and established accounting principles;
Participates in the development of the policies and procedures manual to the overseen department, and monitors their ongoing implementation and compliance. Incorporates all changes upon their occurrence.
Provide full accounting services, including the preparation of estimates, budgetary control and final accounts for a cost centers.
Prepare monthly trading accounts for cost center activities to ensure that financial targets are met and to assess the need for any remedial action.
Prepare statistical returns and financial analysis on a range of topics for internal and external use.
Ensure all payments are in conformance with established policies and supported by adequate documentation.
