• Cash to Accrual Project-Accounting Conversion of Hail Municipality (Size: 103, 887 km2)
• Perform necessary analysis to spot the gaps between current & optimal situation for; Financial Data, Tree of Accounts, Organizational Structures, and Human Resources.
• Prepare & maintain project management documents such as; Project Charter, RAID Report, Ad hoc reports, Project deliverables templates… etc.
• Supervise the consultation team through the project.
• Prepare training materials & provide training sessions to clients’ teams to ensure proper knowledge extension.
• Supervise the maintenance of accounting data in order to ensure information availability and accuracy.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits to ensure that accurate and timely information is provided at all times.
• Prepare reports from statistical and functional metrics according to stated schedules so that all required information is available for review in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the cut•off dates are met, general ledger accounts are closed and adjustments made in accordance with the established period end calendar
• Validate, review and ensure the accuracy of financial data by identifying, investigating and rectifying routine errors and anomalies in input data, so that the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis and statutory reports can be produced within legislative time limits.
• Ensure high level of customer service is delivered and maintained and that internal customers are satisfied by meeting all internal SLA's and by following up on requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in managing and developing team members to ensure that the department has the required knowledge and efficiency.
▪ General ledger duties (Accruals, Prepaid, etc…).
▪ Monthly, quarterly, & yearly closing processes.
▪ Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
▪ Working closely with Internal & External auditors on quarterly and yearly closings.
▪ Monthly & Bi-Monthly Tax data preparation for tax returns filings.
▪ Compliance assurance.
▪ Participating in RFP committees for finance and accounts department needs.
▪ Leading Power BI financial reporting transformation
• Handling Receivables department as acting “Credit Controller” since Aug, 2018
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements
• Protects assets by developing, implementing and enhancing compliance and internal control.
• Review revenue, expense, entries, invoices, other accounting documents.
• Developing the business relationship with customers.
• Oversee investigation of credit risk in customers and monitor the collection of amounts due to the organization.
• Taking part in deciding customers' credit limits and payment terms based on their payment and purchase history.
• Complete account reconciliation and adjustments processing.
• Handle the entire accounting activities of external markets (GCC & Europe) accounts according to company policies and regulations.
• Review, reconcile, and finalize dealers Accounts periodically and report for any discrepancies.
•Responsible on the whole accounting system and procedures.
•Prepare monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual closing reports.
•Reconciliation of Ledger accounts; Inventory, Bank, AR, AP...
•Prepare monthly Payroll reports and payments.
•Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to book of accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting financial transactions.
•Prepare and review revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
•Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
•Organize and maintain financial records
