Position : Assistant Legal Counsel
To provide comprehensive legal support to Image Nation by performing a wide array of legal and administrative duties.
- Assist General Counsel and Legal Counsel on all matters.
- Review, create and update legal templates, processes and Image Nation’s policies where required.
- Assist in preparing basic legal documents in English and Arabic, including development, production, commercial and financing documents of all types relevant to the media industry and other legal letters and statements.
- Review, create and update legal templates, processes and Image Nation’s policies where required.
- Assist with the negotiation of contract terms with other parties.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all members of Image Nation.
- Carry out research (commercial and legal) on specific media related issues.
PERSONAL STATUS LAW This course deals with all matters relating to family affairs, starting from the engagement and down to the marriage contract as well as the dissolution of the marriage contract. CIVIL LAW Thiscourseincludesthedefinitionofthecivillaw,thejudicialorganizationintheUnitedArabEmirates,theformationofthecourtsandthetermsofreference,thestudyoftherulesandproceduresinlitigation,andthestudyofjudicialrulings. FORCED EXECUTIVE LAW: This course addresses the definition of forced execution such as the judge’s verdict, the attributions of Executive rules, etc. PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL LAW: This course includes the study of comparison and conflicts with international law. PRINCIPLES OF COMMERCIAL LAW: This course is the study of commercial law and its comparison with other civil laws. COMPANY AND BANKCRUPTCY LAW: This course is covers the general provisions of companies establishment (local-vs. foreign-owned), company types, and bankruptcy. ADMINISTRATIVE LAW It includes the study of definition of administrative law, its sources, its relationship to the branches of other laws.
