Duties:
• Providing leadership and management to a cross-functional team to maintain performance when managing multi-sector IT Projects.
• Working with internal units to create and execute project scope, roadmaps, support plans and performance measurement.
• Defining end-to-end project management processes and aligning these with internal standards and governance.
• Planning work flow including assessing priorities, allocating timescales and distributing work per level of expertise required.

• Identifying and minimising projects risks by closely working with all functions, with Management escalation, as required.
• Taking ownership of programmes in order to improve predictability in program delivery as well as re-planning the delivery.
• Tracking key project milestones and facilitating project meetings when required.
• Proactively identifying, analysing, measuring and managing project risks as well as implementing a quality control process.
• Working with stakeholders to fully understand and translate business requirements.

Ministry of Labor (MoL), KSA, IT PMO Establishment & Operations (Government Sector)
• Managed a project team that created an IT PMO manual including required processes.
• Created and delivered the IT PMO implementation roadmap, which highlighted planned initiatives dependencies, resources required and timescales.
Ministry of Labor (MoL), KSA, IT Strategy Development (Government Sector)
• Identified in efficiencies within the IT infrastructure and led workshops to define IT vision, mission and objectives.
Astra Zeneca, KSA, SAP Process Integrity Review (Pharmaceutical Sector)
• Reviewed SAP Process Integrity including current business processes.
• Reviewed the finance module of SAP and led workshops for stakeholders to understand their needs.

Tarek was in charge of evaluating and analyzing clients' business requirements and recommending solution designs and architectures to meet their needs. He also was responsible for leading the technical team to implement the recommended solutions which range from mail servers to workflow, CRM and enterprise project management solutions.
